He definitely brought a lot of sunshine and warmth to Love in the 1970s . I watched that drama solely for him

No one felt chemistry in ERL. I like his chemistry with Jing Yi, Dilraba and Ying Lu . With these 3 there was intensity - each a different kind

I did not find it repetitive. Yeah they were trying to get him but he was doing everything he wanted to accomplish.

I think she gets too close to her authors. That is her folly- it is going to repeat with Gu Yan - but it will be one sided from his side

The ML might be right about the collaboration between Gu Yan and FL ending badly. I think she should set some boundaries between herself and her authors.
But then the ML does not have many boundaries either 😂😂😂. He is too friendly with every woman he meets🙄

I am not liking her friend that much. Her going after married men is a little icky. I am foreshadowing her and the lawyer in a messy affair.

Fine is not equal to good or excellent.

Also I am not a fan of Sun Qian. She is not the strongest actress . And did not like her pairing with him. Actresses do matter . They are all not just ‘fine’ . The one in ERL was the worst

Agreed with ERL. It was just not the right fit for him. That script was just bad and that character did not suit him. Also the FL in ERL was not a good fit for that role. It was just bad all around . I don’t think he is cold and stoic all the time . He was pretty warm in Love Story in the 1970s . And he has shown warm sides in his other characters too

I think he needs to be paired with FLs who are strong actresses. It’s more like an equal pairing. He would not do well with someone who just has the looks and no acting chops

I think both ML and FL are unconventional and a little eccentric in this drama. It’s actually refreshing to see that

None. This story is very different and unique. The FL is a powerful ghost spirit and the ML is a mortal. So the romance itself is very different from the usual dramas .

Yes and like someone said before - there are particular fandoms sabotaging this drama.

Yeah the PM is getting a little cringey and may go down a psycho path . Another guy who thinks he has the sole right on a woman and can’t take ‘ no’ for an answer. Have to wait and see.

I don’t know about others but I am really loving this drama .
