Why's the cinematography is so low? I mean it seems like low budget production like everything is bright in the scenes shot in the apartment. The editing and dialog is also kinda mid. Well whatever I am enjoying it.
Although this is far fetched from reality. It also shows such a radical reform is needed from teachers to parents to students. The very existence of this story shows the failure of education system.
Damn!! this is the best thriller I've watched in recent years. The starting is so slow that I wanted to give up but the more episodes it went the more deeper the plot gets. 7.8????? damn wake up noobs
I thought you all are too biased against Song Yi's character but damn now that I watched, without Liu Ran ( or maybe having just a minor role) , the story would've been so much better. Also. Finally my brother Liu Duan got to play a good guy.
I never expected I will rate 9.5 to a occupied chinese drama. This is pure masterpiece, the story, plot and screenplay is impeccable. Added to that the performance of actors brought life. A well executed balance between macro economics, politics and drama. I also I have to mention that the production managed very well to make elements of communist propaganda not at all overbearing. It is a smooth drama-biography.
What's even the point of last 3 episodes. They could've made a large scale battle scenario or focused more on Wutao side. The producers took shortcut to extend the story just so they can make it into 36 episodes. its like eating a sweet dessert with bad after taste.
For C dramas, especially the tragic ones I prepare myself mentally by going through spoilers. Currently I'm on speed run, watching all the K and C-dramas that have an overall rating of 8.0. So I need to plan accordingly.
