It would break my heart to see my children in miserable marriages, I would rather my reputation get tainted than…
Just about their reputation though, you can be jailed for being that way. Somebody could kill you and it would be applauded and I doubt that the investigation agencies would really look that hard into it really. So I'm sure it's not just about the reputation of the family but also the dad not wanting his kids to be in danger even if they have to marry and be an unhappy marriages to prove that they're not that way.
The truth is, I’m not sure how it’s gonna play out because from what I understand this is only the first half…
see this is where i have no clue lol, i have never read the novel. so I'm really hoping that they do have another part where we can see Yai's first life
According to the previews of the next episode, Jom is the one who "sticks up" for Yai, that is, for his love and…
Well, from the brief preview, we see the green queen they’re dancing, so it looks like at least from my impression that all he does is expose that people like him are out there whether Society wants to acknowledge it right now or not.
Unhappy Yai. Pusillanimous. He had the courage to rebel against his father, he told him that he loved Jom and…
I think that I have to try and look at it in the context of the era, so yes, he did a really courageous thing by admitting to his father that he loved JOM but in this time sodomy was still illegal, he could be killed or thrown in jail him. Nobody would want to do business with his family. It could have a lot of negative impact as his family could literally lose everything.
So, I do understand his father, wanting to protect him and his family from that stigma, which, obviously it isn’t in today’s eyes. I although I do think that the father can go about it in a different way, rather than forcing his children into lives that they’ll be unhappy with. I also think they’re doing the girl a disservice by letting her into a marriage that’ll be empty because he knows that his son will never love her.
If he don't go back by the next ep its gonna feel like they'll rush the endingðŸ˜ðŸ˜I don't want him going back…
The truth is, I’m not sure how it’s gonna play out because from what I understand this is only the first half of the novel as this is Yai’s second life?Apparently Yai has actually a first life in the 1700s so hopefully it’ll be a second season before Jom goes back to his current timeline because he hast to go back and meet Yai’s first incarnation
I am so confused reading peoples comments when I’m only on episode eight I thought the sister’s name was Qi Yan Ran. Even in episode eight when he got whipped, and his eyes glowed and it was like he woke up with somebody else, and he even said don’t worry. Qian it wasn’t your fault. So then who is Yan?
