If he has figured out that she’s Ming Xian without her actually saying something then he has to know what’s wrong with her because she told him in episode 24 that Ming Xian was poisoned with heavenly grief

It makes sense to her as a character lol, when you’ve been forced to keep secrets your entire life because you can’t trust anyone, even if you’re starting to have feelings for someone which really hasn’t been that long only a month then yeah you’re not necessarily gonna be as honest as you should be
