Somebody gave a great explanation probably way down in the common section. That instead of punishing and getting revenge on the person or people people who actually harmed her. She punishes everyone around her that if she can’t be happy then neither can they, as a princess of Yan this means that she doesn’t want the people of great Yan very happy either and she blames them for her sacrifice and what she went through.

Also, the fact that he came up with such a cruel way to kill her, like there’s so many different ways he could’ve done it. He could’ve put poison in the wine. He gave her on the carriage ride. Even though I know the princess was being sarcastic when she later said oh I didn’t plan on you killing her. I just wanted to divorce her so you could marry me and then she could be your wife and my control. This made me laugh when they came up with that plan the second time around for him to marry her as the second wife so they could control her. I’m like wasn’t this the plan that the princess originally wanted you to do even though I think she was being sarcastic and decided to kill her instead, lol

From the brief seen, I could see it seemed like he was yelling at him for arresting someone without prior permission. We never saw who that person was in the preview..

Thought it was hilarious when Duke Su was going to be the crutch for her brother and he was like don’t worry I’ll be gentle and then he literally turned around and they both fell on their faces 🤣. I was Like what happened to being gentle.

In episode two when lady on slapped her and she turned around and slapped her back. I was like that’s awesome. 😂

No, I’m only on episode three, but it seems to me that he made the assumption when he came upon her, pulling the dagger out of his mother that she was the one who killed her. Which I have to laugh because I was like those type of scenes are so misleading. His mother was already unconscious she she could’ve come upon her after the knife was already in lol.

No, from spoilers, I read about the novel he was not redeemable at all apparently in the novel he was the manipulative one and was manipulating the princess and there was absolutely no abuse between them like yeah she did torture people, but she actually never tortured him and he was pulling her strings. I think that the writer did a really good job of portraying his character as a lot more morally, grey and complex in the drama. But still, he was the one making the choices he was the one who chose to have an affair with the princess in the beginning. he kept talking to her about having sacrifice her to save the Shen family, but by marrying into his family, she became part of the family, but still they all treated her like she was an outsider and she wasn’t worth protecting the way. His mother and sister were..

The sad thing and I did feel a moment of pity for her is that the child isn’t even real. I think this is the one moment where I felt sad for her even though she’s an awful person, her excitement enjoy at the possibility of this pregnancy when it’s all fake and illusion created by JL and the poison that she gave her.

I honestly love her twirls maybe it’s because I like to spin, but honestly, I think it just just shows how crazy she is when she spins

I find it so interesting because it’s like they did evil things to her like they drugged her, set her up to have a reputation ruined drug her again, and then attempted to kill her and buried her alive and yet she’s never harmed an innocent person. Just because senseless bad things happen to you. They happen to a lot of people and other people don’t become become murderers lol

It’s kind of interesting because I read a comment a few days ago where it explained quite well that Yurong it’s so adapted playing the consummate victim, he weaponizes his victimhood and uses it to manipulate the princess by constantly holding out over her head.
