I wonder if the younger lawyer Yang is going to be disappointed when he learns that his father was behind everything including the murders. Although he is also a lawyer who uses underhanded tactics, he doesn’t seem as ruthless or diabolical as his dad. I hope he actually participates in putting his dad away, but I doubt it.

I really liked today’s episode. His dad is one of my favorite actors and I thought the chemistry between father and son was genuine. The final scene was such fun. Side note: for people complaining about this not being realistic with two murders in one day. This is a show about a lawyer who can see ghosts so I don’t think anyone expects a lot of reality in this show. It’s pure entertainment.

Does anyone know What will replace this as the next good dramas??

For those expecting a proposal and wedding at the end of this one, that’s not what this story was about. Like the title, it was about the evolution of Miyu from a subservient wife, daughter and sister who always bowed to the whims of others. She shed that persona and slowly rose to be an extremely competent businesswoman while staying true to her core values. At the end she is a separate person who loves without being swallowed by her relationship. The promise of a life together will have to wait a bit until she completes the circle of her goals. An extra 5 minutes of fast forward to an eventual reunion/wedding really wasn’t necessary. I see that in enough shows and really didn’t miss it. Her contrast with Lu Zhens methods for moving ahead couldn’t be more different than night and day. I had no pity for her but I did for that poor baby born to such horrible parents.

That’s pretty much how i felt. I was glad to see her rotten husband got the karma that was coming to him. At least he gave Miyu a heads up as to who was betraying her. He realized way too late what a wonderful wife she was and what an evil woman he left her for.

I just noticed that. I can’t wait to watch them all but part of me will be sad-I looked forward to watching every day. I hope there’s a good replacement coming up.

how many people could sleep in their office overnight on a chair, wake up the next morning, and look fabulous. Hair and makeup even lipstick perfectly applied. I wish I could do that!

I like how Ji Feng subtly lets Tan JiZhou know that Miyu is his woman!

Those three jerk managers really piss me off All they know how to do is sit around drinking and scheming.

There’s only a trailer for episode 33. Does that mean only one episode daily now?

Did anyone notice how Lu Zhen didn’t look as good as she used to now that she’s back from maternity leave. Her outfits and hair and makeup are very toned down and she looks tired. This is while Miyu has really stepped up her style. Her outfits are professional and very flattering and she can wear her hair down. Also, how is her husband? Did he have surgery? How is his cancer? We didn’t even see his face, only heard him coughing under the covers in bed. Her life certainly isn’t turning out as she planned!

I find the dialogue between characters so well written. Sometimes i rewind just to hear it again. Between Miyu and her parents, the influence, and JiFeng they were so good in episode 31.

Interesting, your point is well taken. Knowing this, I wonder why writers choose to do this knowing the viewers will be disappointed with their change in direction so late in the series.

It always baffles me how people complain about a show while watching 30 episodes. If you give it a chance and after 8-10 episodes you really don’t like it, why don’t you drop it. I have so many shows on my to be watched list, I don’t continue with a show I dislike. I’m also a HEA person, so for a show that is already completed, I do a search for whether it has a sad ending. I’ve avoided a few critically acclaimed shows because I didn’t want to go through the agony of a sad ending after watching so many episodes. K and C dramas are my escape from negativity. That’s just me though.

Ugh. He’s so creepy in both looks and personality. is she really attracted to him? I hope not! I thought she was interested in the manager’s sidekick. Maybe she’s just doing this to play around and get back at him for the things he’s done but she kind of seemed sincere. I guess we’ll find out eventually.

That was a really great analysis of the characters and their dynamics. Hopefully they can both grow and overcome their individual flaws together while continuing to be separate individuals.

i’m looking forward to tomorrow’s episodes, finally back to two! i’m also looking forward to seeing the showdown between Miyu and LZZ. We still have no idea on the condition of her ex and what the relationship between him and his nasty wife is after the baby. I wonder if he’s home sick and taking care of the baby now. I hope it’s in one of those two episode episodes tomorrow.
