one of the better short dramas. His acting was really good. I’ve seen her in other dramas. and in this role she was a little over the top but I liked her.
I’m really enjoying this one. A twist on the usual boss/employee story. I love how she is really smart, capable and not a suck up. She even fights for the rights of her co workers. I love how she recognized she had to end her relationship even though she loved him. They wanted different things in life that would ultimately destroy their relationship. I’m looking forward to seeing how/when they will finally get together.
I’ve seen the FL in a few other shows and I think this may be her best role. She is so believable and her interactions with the ML in the later episodes are so funny. The two of them really work well together.
I still think think Jun Hyeok is playing the bad guy to trap Director Baek. Director Yang may even be in on it with him since he was always so timid before he learned his true identity.
I’m with you. The only thing I’ll add to your review is that we’ve all watched enough workplace dramas to know that it’s difficult to come up with a fresh situation, industry or boss/workers relationship. This one is a bit different so far. I like the engineering aspect for products that are actually realistic and that she is an engineer herself with great ideas and interpersonal skills. it will be fun to watch the two of them brainstorm with each other. He might have a slight upper hand in the tech ability but her relationship skills are better than his. It’s pretty obvious there will be a romantic relationship that will develop slowly. when it’s too early there will be the inevitable breakup. I’m also a major fan of Seo In Guk. He’s perfect for this type of character. He has such a unique look and I love his gaze. One of my favorite roles of his was Doom at Your Service. When a show hooks me after 2 episodes that’s a good sign. Hopefully it continues.
It was fun to watch this couples loving chemistry and banter with playful bickering. No misunderstandings or unnecessary breakups. Not enough episodes for that trope, thankfully.
The chemistry and romance was so well done that we didn’t even feel cheated that we didn’t get a cheesy proposal or wedding. Seing them together throughout the series and then at the end it was so obvious what a perfect couple they were. This was very unique and different from so many of the dramas that I have seen lately.
The chemistry between the leads was the best I’ve seen in a long time. The side characters were decent and not too dislikable. The villain was played perfectly by an actor who often plays that same role. I’d actually like to see him play the good guy for once, but he has such a great face for an evil character. What I like most about the show is it kept me wanting for the next weekend to come so I could see what happened. It wasn’t long and drawn out. Some of the back-and-forth between time periods could be confusing and not fully developed, but it was enough to move the plot along. The relationship with her grandmother was really beautiful. The actress who plays her grandmother is one that I’ve seen in so many roles and she was excellent in this one as she is in most of her roles. the ending scene between the two of them was one of the most beautiful ones I’ve seen in dramas. Overall, this will be one of my top dramas for the year. I hope there’s another one like this in the wings.
So it seems they found grandpa....or more accurately, grandpa found his way back. I can't wait to watch the ep…
I really hope he is. I can’t imagine that he changed that much after learning he was the son of the chairman. It would be very inconsistent with a character that we’ve seen for the last 39 episodes.
