They were both eejits but they made me feel fond of them. I liked ML saying he was a jerk all along and stayed a jerk to the end. I liked FL grace but with edge under fire, and saying she was tired and letting go of everything but not overly denying herself when there was hope to hold on.
I normally hate the misunderstandings/miscommunication thing dragging on too long but in this case I was convinced that they both needed the space it forced on them to change and find something within to give them courage so it felt tolerable rather than stupid to me.
I liked depression getting an ok treatment. Not exemplary, not terrible. I liked the Star Wars Imperial March done in jaunty style -with what sounds like ukulele and penny whistle - as background music to a weird bed wrestling moment.
I liked almost believing the green tea 2FL wasn't actually greenteaing but then her parents pressured her into upping the scheming . Plus her last attack and line about being unloved. For once there was no kidnapping/fruit knife etc- just facts.
Thanks to ppl on this page I now know to watch Summer Rose next.
