Although I had to ffwd alot of it, he was a good tempted and willingly falling monk, she was a good calculating, flirty, seductive yet endearingly sympathetic "white lotus", the chemistry was enough without feeling like a voyeur and villains handled satisfactorily || with some meeting justice and some choosing alternative fates- she made 2 enemy tropes into useful allies. || In particular I liked seeing her independent career and his stressing support/attraction to her brain and abilities above and beyond the visceral. It would have been better with a fountain pen though, not a rollerball.
