Ren Jia Lun & Song Zu Er of course here I come. Let’s discuss drama…
This is the story of Duan Banxia (BX), a young girl who can see spirits and demons, and Xuan Ye (XY), a mysterious, brooding, and highly skilled demon hunter.
In the bustling city of Guangping, humans and demons secretly coexist. Demons are masters of disguise, concealing their true forms behind ordinary human appearances and blending seamlessly into society, leaving most people completely unaware of the supernatural world around them.
BX wasn't born with the ability to see spirits and demons. As a child, Banxia was abducted and, while trying to escape, accidentally fell into the mystical Wuyou Realm. There, she was attacked by terrifying supernatural beasts. Just as she was about to be killed, a mysterious young boy named Man Ying (MY) appeared and risked his life to save her. During the rescue, MY was injured, and a drop of his demon blood accidentally splashed into BX's left eye. This single drop of blood gave BX the ability to see through demons and spirits that ordinary people couldn't see.
With MY's help, BX was able to leave Wuyou Realm and return to the human world. However, when she woke up, she remembered very little of what had happened. Most of her memories of MY and Wuyou Realm became fragmented, fading into what felt like a distant dream.
From that moment on, BX’s life changed forever. Because BX could see these hidden entities and spoke about them, her family and society misunderstood her. They believed she was physically ill, hallucinating, or "crazy," which forced her into a lonely, heavily medicated, and isolated upbringing.
Years later, Banxia’s life takes an unexpected turn when she moves to Guangping for her cousin’s wedding. She quickly realizes that the new bride is actually a dangerous owl demon preying on humans. While trying to protect her family, she crosses paths with XY.
XY helps BX defeat the owl demon and, more importantly, encourages her to embrace her rare ability instead of fearing it. Under his guidance, he opens her eyes fully to the hidden supernatural world that has always existed around her.
From that day on, the two form an unlikely partnership. Together, they investigate a series of eerie and dangerous cases throughout Guangping, each involving demons with their own motives and tragic stories. As they face countless dangers side by side, their partnership gradually blossoms into a heartfelt romance.
However, the deeper they delve into the truth, the more dangerous their journey becomes. Long-buried secrets surrounding XY's true identity begin to surface, threatening not only their relationship but also the fragile balance between the human and demon worlds.

What I like:
+ Quite like the chemistry between Ren Jia Lun & Song Zu Er. Not the best from them, but I can imagine them as a couple.
+ The peaceful time in the last 2 ep… The world of what if…
+ How silly and easy to change people's perspective about demons among them… Haha…
What I don’t like:
- The story somehow feels unfinished… I really hope we get the special ep…
Overall I'm just glad I can watch this drama…
