So first I gotta say my man Ma Dong Seok played his part FLAWLESSLY! He may be a really miscellaneous role actor but he's never failed to deliver to me. If you're looking for something that'll make you wince in imaginary pain, you've come to the right place. As someone obsessed with serial killers, I'm aware of where the law stands on the death penalty and I'm rarely satisfied with court rulings on any murder case. This movie is a perfect example of how poorly the law handles stuff by doing everything "the right way". I'd definitely do good as a mobster lol There's so much blood and profanity I couldn't help but be entranced with it all! If you love action with a side of psycho, you'll love this movie as much as I did.Enjoy...

I lied...
THIS is my favourite BL of 2020 lol It WAS "Like In The Movies" but I can't even deal rn! It was so flipping cute! I'm very happy with the way they treated the Covid situation. It wasn't like the rest of these virus dramas this year at all. Something about the way they executed the social distancing rules and put it into the story itself, made the show so much cuter. If you're looking for cuteness over load, look no further. The fluffy cuteness will give you cavities and I wouldn't have it any other way. This is the content we Fan Girls scream for! The actors are not only super cute but they have that adorable shy yet confident chemistry together. I want more but the ending was On Point...Who would've thought tiny dicks on your face could bring people together in such a way LMAO

Displeased
Okay so for starters, keep in mind I was already halfway in this series when I realized it's aka as "Stalker". lolI didn't hate this series but I definitely don't think it deserves half the praise it's receiving. It was cringe fuel at it's finest. The support cast were funny and even tho I wish some of them got more screen time you'll quickly see what I mean when I say they are extra af. Way too invested and just clear over the top acting for the scenes. But I'm going to let that slide cause it's clear they're new actors and like I said, they were funny.
Moving on,** IT'S NEVER OK TO STALK SOMEONE**
This I can't stress enough that it was only finished because what was good was really good. This took getting your crushes attention to a whole new level! It was meant to be quirky and cute I know, but I can't get past some parts...most importantly the box(s) dedicated to TRASH that belonged to the MC.
The relationship(s) in general moved very quickly which isn't really a problem but other than that some of the episodes made no progress in the storyline itself.

Tissues for the Issues
Well if you're in the mood to cry and suffer emotional distress for 2 hours, LOOK NO FURTHER! I did well; I must say, I didn't cry as bad as I thought I would lmaoFor starters I gotta warn that this movie is not for the faint heart. From personal experience as someone who got taken away from my family (even for just a short time) I'm fully aware of the trauma it causes at such a young age. You don't know who to trust, you begin to question why you trusted at all and everyone around you is using you as a pawn. As a child it's not so easy to comprehend. This movie is beautifully done and has all the emotions. Rage, Happiness, Fear etc. If you ever feel like you have bad luck, think again!
The ending had me feeling some type of way. It wasn't a bad ending... but wasn't a good ending either. Kind of an open ending but I'm personally dissatisfied. I'm NEVER in the mood to cry but something told me to watch this and I'm glad I did.

Too Much Sweetness
Looking for a reason to go to the dentist? LOOK NO FURTHER! Lactose intolerant? TURN BACK! This show was super cheesy and so sweet you'll probably get a cavity lol One of the worst things about BL dramas is they never give the side couples enough love, but I did appreciate that all the couples got an even/decent amount of scree time here. I liked it was different in telling everyone's story couple by couple, not by throwing it all together miscellaneously(it's hard to remember couple stories and even names when they do that). Yes, some of their stories were basic and cliché but I don't think it's a bad series. There were visuals all around and I gotta admit the ending was super satisfying and cute (CHEESY THOUGH) Unfortunately, that's really all the praise I can give...Enjoy...

Basic
If you're looking for something different in the BL community TURN BACK cause this is incredibly basic! PureFolk is the reason I stuck it out and they were by far my favorite couple. The story was eh and it's only because this plot has been repeated countless other times it's gotten old and faded. I gave it the rating I did because there were cute moments and the serious moments could be used for educational purposes (ex: disease testing). The ending was cute but yet again, basic. No hate at all but there's no chance of me re-watching this strictly cause I can watch another BL and get the same gear and gown theme. On a side note... OMG
This is one of the best series I've watched all 2020 and I fan girl screamed so damn hard! It definitely deserves all the love it's received. It's an emotional roller coaster but instead of feeling sad, I mostly felt anxiety. SO MANY times you're going to be tricked and wanna scream "WTF?!" But it's an amazing story none the less. The boys have great chemistry with each other which makes the story so much more convincing. It was nice to seem some new faces and this lead role will definitely put them in the spot light in the future. The name seems weird... until the very end, it'll all make sense (I love stuff like that). Now the wait for S2 begins...Was this review helpful to you?
Dear God
Ok so legit I'm only here cause my subscription was about to expire and I didn't want to renew lmaoThis was the hottest mess of hot messes. I'm talking scattered and smothered! It's like off brand Twilight on acid and God knows what else. There was no chemistry, no story, no NOTHING! A whole hour? I skipped bits and pieces and I assure you I missed nothing. I'm not sure if they were new actors at this time or if the plot was just that s***y.
Wanna know the worst part? ...The only half decent guy had better eyeliner than me LMAO

A Little Basic
If you're looking for a BL where they ravage each other turn back cause you won't find that here. This series was a little basic (especially if you've seen as many BL as I have) but overall still worth the watch. It didn't take long before side couple(s) became my favourite s opposed to the main couple but the MC are still cute. Sol is too precious with his love and Gui is the mature one lol Anyways, there's ships I had that didn't sail and there's ships I didn't even think about that began to sail. The story itself isn't too basic and there's enough couples and different storylines that I didn't get bored (but obviously wanted more). I don't see a reason for a S2 which is fine considering the ending. As long as you have a decent imagination you can make a pretty good S2 yourself lol Not my favourite but if you're a BL fan (which if you're here you probably are) then give it a try...there's visuals all around!Was this review helpful to you?

*KOREAN BL IS ALWAYS SHORT* Just in case you weren't aware yet lolAnyway, I loved this series! Definitely one of my fav KBL because it was nice to see something different. It's usually enemies to lovers and it gets old QUICK. Because this series is short obviously I don't think they gave enough references to their childhood together but based on what we received, I thoroughly enjoyed. Visuals for miles and there was no unnecessary drama, side couple situations or excessive characters to take away from our MC. This series was literally short, sweet and to the point. Exactly the way it should be for KBL.
BEWARE: Cavity overload from cuteness is to be expected!

While this isn't my favourite Japanese BL, it's definitely worth the watch. The cute fluffiness and just right amount of cheesiness makes for a perfect "high school romance" classic. It wasn't basic or cliché and you can never go wrong with that! The side couple had a good amount of screen time (rare) and I got enough of everyone's story I was left wanting more because I loved everyone, and not because they were lacking character development lol. If you're new to BL this is a perfect watch because you get all the love without any lust and believe it or not, you can have a great series that way! The ending made my face hurt it was so cute! It may give you cavities with it's sweetness :)Enjoy...

Envigorating!
If you're looking for a good fight and lots of blood, you're in the right place! I am a huge fan of this series and as the name suggests...this is the beginning. This is how our hero came to his "No Kill" rule. The fight scenes and throat slits had me pumped the whole movie. The romance and 'genuine' love had me in my feels and I loved every minute of it. Tomoe's actress is so beautiful and of course she goes perfectly with Himura (for now) lol Obviously, I'd actually suggest starting with this movie before the rest, but either way you won't be lost. I'd definitely recommend to samurai related theme junkieEnjoy...

Hopeful
As a YinWar fan it's only natural I'm here. First, keep in mind this is a mini series. It stressed me out seeing it would be 3 eps but I went in anyway. It stretched out the more basic, unnecessary parts and made the main story worthy of being called "mini". Don't dismiss this though, it was actually pretty good. It had some pretty realistic issues that weren't made/acted too tacky. I'm down with/must have another season lmaoThere's a few parts that aren't translated but even if you don't look it up you can use your imagination lol

Low Budget? WGAF!?
Foundations of friendship, bravery, love and life are the key points to this story that everyone can somehow relate too. Everything ranging from family problems to work life is tackled here in the most realistic way. I loved everyone's stories(some more than others) and even though I wouldn't complain about a S2... I think it ended perfectly! There was great chemistry with the entire cast and the real life situations made it so relatable it shines though everything sad. DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE LOW BUDGET PART! You'll miss out on a gem of a short story.Enjoy...

Realistic
Looking for something with high sexual content? LEAVE! Looking for cute fluffiness? WELCOME! Looking for something that tackles real life issues? LOOK NO FURTHER!I've LOVED Kao since UWMA so it was only natural I watch his new series and I gotta say...it was well worth waiting weekly! Obviously, there's gonna be a few bits in the storyline that can be considered "basic" but I promise it's all worth it. I'd recommend to a new BL fan in a heartbeat! There's visuals all around and the kissing scenes are ON POINT! I can definitely sense good chemistry between everyone. The dark side of being an actor (especially in BL) comes to light here and in all the worst ways. Cyberbullying at it's finest and the things it can do to everyone involved shows it's ugly face and it gets pretty emotional but once again, WORTH THE WATCH!
