I think it's very creative drama. This drama feeling it wants to engage with the audience and have fun with us. I think 6 years Olds would enjoy it same as 60 year olds
rewatching really adds value to the series because we have pretext. in the first couple of minutes in episode one... I was like oooohh yeh when CP stated the Eastern Palace wasn't responsible for Duke Ding's assassination
Couple goals. I cried. Excellent drama. Love it when cdramas recognise that women can be good and intelligent at the same time. Also, I have a thing for noses, LYR's is freaking perfect.
For those wondering why Ji Yong sometimes addresses Song Mo as 'Mantis Song', there's a Chinese proverb that goes like this: "Mantis stalks Cicada unaware of the Oriole behind."
Basically, he is implying that while SM is targeting people to bring justice to his uncle, he is unaware that more powerful people are painting a target on his back.
The leads absolutely carried this drama for me. Their chemistry was off the charts, and I loved watching their relationship evolve. The skinship and tender moments? Chef’s kiss. And can we just celebrate the fact that LYR finally got the girl? YEEY! I was rooting for him so hard, and the payoff was everything I hoped for.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper drama without a few over-the-top elements: obsessed second leads, some truly unhinged characters, and those classic boring, dragged-out scenes. But hey, it’s all part of the package, and let me tell you, this drama brought the tea! I honestly don’t know what the writers were smoking while scripting this chaos, but whatever it was, they should share with the rest of us.
Now, let’s talk side couples: the second lead couple had me rolling! They were so extra and ridiculous, but I adored every moment of their antics. The third couple, on the other hand, was just… meh. I couldn’t get into their storyline, so I shamelessly skipped most of their scenes. No regrets.
All in all, I got exactly what I came for: a cute romance, plenty of kisses, a shirtless male lead (yes, I said it), and a beautifully satisfying happy ending. What more could I ask for? Loved this, and I’m leaving with a full heart and zero complaints. Peace, y’all!
I am really excited about this drama but I am worried that will the name be final and will this drama be released or not? And whenever this drama will be released I will watch it. Thank you
