Just watched to ep 3, and i'm really liking how ml and fl characters are so different from the usual traditional gender roles. She's a confident boss lady, while he's a simple no nonsense guy who rather work from home. Yang hua mother is already suspicious that their relationship is not real, she's just pretending to be ok with their relationship since she thinks he's only with qing shi to escape from getting marry. She's so controlling unlike his father who's so much more easy going.
Love love this fake couple - they partner so well together...cannot wait for the real sparks to happen! I agree with Yang Hua - Qin Shi is not like Li Dai...Li Dai is unscrupulous unlike Qin Shi goes after what she wants without compromising her principles
No comparison but when YH said "your medicine expired two years ago" it hits the same way when in falling into your smile LSC said "Ex, that means past."
Maybe it starts with a typical plot but I am enjoying it so far! The story line goes with a perfect pace for a 40 episodes drama. And Xu Kai and Yang Mi looks so good together! I am enjoying their chemistry. Qin Shi's personality is cute in nature but even though Yang Hua is mature, I found him more adorable! And for those people who are judging so early,, first let this drama completed 😅! For now enjoy!!!!
My oh my I am very... surprised?! This exceed my expectation! The characters are innovative while using a "typical" contract marriage trope but they actually started out pretty realistic how they ended up signing that contract which is very satisfying. Both leads are strong in their own way and has a very distinctive personality that justify their decisions and actions. The plot are so compact and well arranged, each characters was introduced naturally and flawlessly.
My favorite scenes so far from the released 4 episodes are Yang Hua's battle of wits saga with his mom XD love how they are actually very alike and Qin Shi's negotiation during their first meeting with the parents is epic The banquet scene. It gives the vibe of Mr. and Mrs. Smith but without the guns. I love how natural they done this scenes. It doesn't feel dramatic, it's realistic. Their confrontation in the car. The justification of how Qin Shi discover the existence of Yang Hua and the reason she chose him as her "virtual" husbands caught me off guard, I did not expect such genuine reason and it seems to poke into the upcoming plot of Yang Hua's past which makes everything interrelated. The arrangement of sleeping at the hotel, Yang Hua's life is miserable and I love how blasé Qin Shi is.
If this pace keep up, it can be my most favourite drama.
