I have watched all 32 episodes and I can honestly say that this is a good drama. If you equate it to a youth drama (modern) your frustration will soon dissipate. The younger cast grow through their childish behavior and learn to care more for the bigger picture and (people) around them. The older cast members continue to provide a world in which the kids can do so. Among this as well as the hidden plot of peace trying to make the main leads do their bidding and if not then they make trouble for them and the people around them. The male lead has it rough. He grows through to where he needs to be as at the same time trying to stay true to his beliefs and his love. The main female lead is literally like taffy being pulled here then there emotionally and physically. She isn’t stupid or meek. She just cares to much for the people around her. She does have a back bone but it take her awhile to get to that point where she will let you know enough is enough.
All in all it is worth it. If you want to take the time to appreciate it till the end. If not then there is the skip button.
Oh and I watched up to ep. 20 with engsub. Then the rest without engsub.

I agree with every casting person except Dilraba. She is not that good of an actress nor has the charisma or energetic…
Actually I've HP multiple times too. I guess u should check out The Long Ballad coz Dilbara nailed it there. We won't just put anyone only on basis of visuals. This was a well thought out process. And yea the ones u mentioned may also be good. Idk abt Zhao Lu Si, I've only seen her bubbly side majorly.
I really liked the first season, the second season was trying my patience, but I enjoyed it. I'm not too sure about this season; seems like they are just milking this drama. At least the main leads are still in it.

i couldnt stop watching it once i started it. just wanted to know the ending so badly. it has many twists and it doesn’t have the the typical kdrama plot we all kinda know. usually i dont really get emotionally attached to dramas, but this one shuttered my heart in several scenes. great drama.
