OK, I finished the whole thing. I feel like that kid Mikey from the commercial where his brother & sister say, "Give it to Mikey. He'll eat anything!" So I watched the whole thing.
I enjoyed it. The cast, save one, performed wonderfully. Still, I don't want to diss that "one" person who I mistook for a mannequin the majority of the time. You know you can buy a mannequin online for 79.95 - cheaper on the budget. I have one question: How did the ML mount a horse with only one arm? His right arm was always posed like a model.
Happy ending? Looking at the ML's face, I couldn't tell. At least the ending shot was of his back - no need to smile, I suppose.

I don't think there is an iTunes link for the cdrama but if you want to know the songs, you can probably search "Legend of the White Snake OST." The female lead, Ju Jingyi, sang a few of the songs.
OK, so the ML has fainted again. Eyes are closed but honestly, he doesn't look any different than when his eyes are open. I don't like to diss actors but...I rather like the drama as a whole; still, somebody needs to reach over & pinch him during one of his scenes. Would he react or not?
At this point I must admit that I am baffled that the director and scriptwriter did not pull Yu Menglong aside and have a heart to heart with him that goes kind of like this: dude if you don't get your act together and exercise those super lazy face muscles, we are going to have to rewrite so that the FL end up with the second ML who was originally supposed to be just a parody. Note: Not a spoiler I have no idea how this ends.
I have been waiting since season 1 ended. I am afraid that it will have a season 3 and I will have to wait for another year. Anyway, the series is great from the acting to the plot and I like the idea of zombies in the past and not in modern time.
