Stumbled into this drama while looking for something to watch on Netflix. The premise is interesting, but what I really like from this drama is the dialogs and the human relationships.
They made Joo Sangwook as Yeo Eunnam's dad! When in True to Love they're boss and employee who fall in love with each other! it's so weird and funny 😭 Like I know they're actors playing characters but I personally haven't seen kdrama actors who were playing lovers and then being parent-child or vice-versa in other drama... Anyway, I had a good laugh 😁
Although I was a bit curious about Eunho's ex, I'm glad they didn't bring her back to add unnecessary melodrama. Let's just accept she's probably wasn't cut out for marriage and children life, for whatever reason. And I hope she's happy with her life now so she won't bother Eunho and Jiyun 😅
In episode 2, Kim Mubi ask Gyeom if he's ill or someone died, literally giving him a chance to explain his disappearance, but he didn't say anything and let her think the worst of him. Why?? He didn't have to tell the whole story right away, just start by telling her his brother had an accident. Why let her misunderstood him? Idk, maybe bc of Love Scout, where the leads actually communicate, I have no patience for something silly like what Gyeom did. But, I haven't seen episode 3 yet. Maybe he'll redeem himself later idk...
Also, Kim Jaewook, enough with supporting roles and cameos, please be the lead of your own drama please 😭
Prince Eunyong is sus... The way he exchanged looks with one of minister's guard... Idk, but he might had a hand on Minister of Law death. He's probably plotting something to take his rightful place as the Crown Prince...but let's see next week!
I found ep5 a bit boring, but it's funny that the drama seems self aware about it, bc Soryong teased Hando that his episode rating was tanking and he said it's bc people not really interested in corporate corruption and workers rights and stuff , which is exactly what ep5 is about 😁
Evil people are evil and deserve punishment, but what I hate more are the supposedly "normal" people who protect those people and let them continue their evil doings (the parents of the cat-k*ller boy, the cops and the prosecutors who cover up the r*pist father).
I like the drama overall, but I just think the father was too easily forgiven. He's literally been abusing his family in the name of "love" and refused to listen any reason. And he almost hit his wife when she mentioned divorce. Big NO. If only they show how he beg for his family's forgiveness, maybe I'll be more inclined to accept it. But the way his family just welcome him back really left a bitter taste to an overall good ending.
Idk but one of the fun thing in this drama for me is watching minister of law scheming with his wife, kinda cute just vibing together haha...yea they're bad people but for antagonists, I'd rather watch them and oldman Cheon than that obnoxious bully and his henchmen

And we meet Lee Haeyoung again after Unmasked. The actual disney child 😁

Definitely doesn't need second season.
