Then you might enjoy All of Us Are Dead. In that drama it's mostly about the zombies and it has way more gore moments, but the characters are all unbearable. Especially the girls, I hated all of them except one called Nam Ra. The FL is shit and everyone behave in a very frustrating way and sometimes very illogical and over the top manner. Some act in a way that's unexplainable and many moments and characters are just pointless. The acting isn't that good. It also has teen crush crap, a love triangle, and the irritating rude teen / tsundere attitude (Mostly the girls have that attitude)...etc
I actually enjoy Happiness cause the acting is good, it's more realistic, the plot is a bit unique than other similar shows, and it does show how would people in real world act and think. It keeps getting better after ep 4 and there is barley romance. It's mostly focused on the characters and the whole infection and crimes stuff going on in the apartment complex. I also love the leads since they are both strong, interesting and smart (Them along with the little girl are the only very likeable characters to be fair. Some characters are meh and most are annoying but in a realistic way still). Good change from the typical zombie stuff that are filled with people running around screaming and getting eaten the whole time with zero character and plot depth.

That was my exact problem with Vincenzo. The awful unnecessary humor, over the top acting, annoying side characters, and forced romance with zero chemistry between leads. If they focused on the dark and serious part of the plot, it would be ten times better. Especially with the great villain character. He was the reason I bothered finishing the drama. The comedy + dark mix turned the plot into absolute chaos.
About Happiness I only finished 3 episodes and planning to watch rest of episodes today so I can't judge it yet, but I already prefer it over All of Us Are Dead. At least FL is useful, knows how to use her brain, and likeable.

Exactly! Like what with her awful attitude and constantly cursing at everyone and threatening to kill them for the stupidest reasons. Also ordering everyone around using the senior card. I don't even get why did her guy friend even stand her guts. Her whining about being a senior and not being able to go to college crap, like come on girl, if she wanted to go to college she could study her ass off and the problem would be solved instead of complaining about how tough and unfair everything is and insulting the archer girl saying that she got it easy thanks to her being an athlete.
I myself was kinda a shitty student in high school, even failed some math, physics, and French tests but in my last year I decided to make some effort and managed to get in college and study economics, it's not that impossible. Wonder how would she handle job adult life if to her just getting into college is that much of a nightmare. She is supposed to be relatable but she ended up being an eye sore.

Well, even side characters did more than her. Also about strategies it was mostly others who came up with them. Fighting, again others did that. She was more of an annoying side character than a female lead. She even got her dad killed while trying to protect her, made Cheong San risk himself to protect her (Like in the beginning when he had to waste time to comfort her after her friend died and he almost got bitten by zombies for letting her go down first) but she would be like "Su Hyuk this and Su Hyuk that" to his face and keep kicking him. She was more gloomy than hopeful honestly. It was the guys who mostly kept a cheerful way of acting like the kinda over sized dude in their group. It was Cheong San who acted like true leader and guided the others and Su Hyuk along with other guys who truly believed in him and followed him all the time. Anyone sane would rather follow the others than follow her.

Yeah, comforting the girl who decided to abandon her friend (Girl with pink sweater) then got bitten herself. I mean the pink sweater girl kinda deserved it since she keeps falling and expecting everyone to risk their life to help her stand up as if she was a toddler. So what if she comforted her, anyone among the characters could do that. Ohn Jo doesn't deserve to be a main character at all. How many people sacrificed themselves for her and then she was like "Bite me, I'm okay" with Nam Ra as if her dad death to make sure she stays alive was meaningless to her.

Yeah, she was always like daddy save me. Like bitch, you don't even know in what kind of situation your dad is in so instead of relying on him try to figure out how to survive on your own. Her dad died thanks to her. Cheong San almost died few times cause of her. What kind of main character is that?!

Yeah guys are physically stronger...blah blah all that is true but their personalities what were truly strong cause whatever your gender is, unless you have strong will and bravery you could be a total coward. Like that loser boy who got bullied, he watched the girl he likes get sexually harassed and humiliated and just did nothing apart from filming her, when she decided to go search for the phone he just hid in the rooftop and even let the other students to die in school so he can be saved on his own.
Being a female doesn't mean you can't use your brain or use anything to fight, it's not like the guys are freaking bodybuilders or have super strength, except for the kinda plus size or athletic guys they are all are freaking thin. Girls were able to hit and kick the guys whenever they were going through a mood swing (Like how Oh Jo liked to kick Cheong San's leg when she felt frustrated which is guess is supposed to be cute somehow?) but couldn't do that with the zombies?!
If we are talking about brain and strategies then the glasses dude, Cheong San and Nam Ra did the most. Su Hyuk kept saying that he wanted to go with glasses dude to get the drone but she insisted to go cause she herself in her mind knew she was being painfully useless. If it wasn't for glasses dude, the whole drone idea wouldn't work since he only knew how to complete the drone and use it. About physical work, the guys, Nam Ra and the two senior girls did everything. Ohn Jo barley did a thing except for crying, focusing on Su Hyuk and ignoring Cheong San mostly or being like "No, please don't go!" every time someone decided to sacrifice themselves for the group when they knew they couldn't survive (Going after someone who is turning like that could lead her to get bitten like what happened with her friend I sak, she could get bitten or fall off the window with her if it wasn't for Cheong San). She was even willing to get bitten by Nam Ra even after her dad died to make sure she doesn't get bitten like wtf?!
Just cause she opened a door or hit a zombie with the fire extinguisher once doesn't mean a damn thing. She already made Cheong San risk his lives many times to protect her so of course she has to do something. She doesn't deserve to be female lead character at all. The type who mostly preach and act emotional like her won't survive at all (Unless of course the plot armor is strong like in this drama).

No, sadly I watched everything without skipping. Besides even if she was as useful as you claim, she wasn't even as 5% useful as the guys or archer girl, smoker girl and Nam Ra. Remember that when they first climbed down that water hose to get to the recording room, Cheong San almost got caught by the zombies cause she was busy crying over I sak and wasted time forcing him to convince her to move her ass and get down? He could die during that time cause of her, there is also when he hit I sak with the chair to protect Ohn Jo from being bitten or falling too, if I sak was high enough she could bit his hand while he did that. She is indeed a cry baby also. If the plot didn't want her to survive she should have been among the first students to die but FL plot armor is strong.

What risks?! I don't remember her doing anything but preach or just stand silently every episode with her eternal blank ass expression (Even her crying scenes weren't convincing). Only idea she came up with is bathroom one and it was shit idea as well. If it wasn't for Cheong San constantly protecting her ass she would be dead by the end of episode 1 honestly. She is your typical Mary Sue character who try to be perfect but end up being awfully annoying and boring instead. This type of bland character always has someone obsessed with them who will constantly risk, sacrifice and handle their bullshit for some unknown reason like Cheong San. I keep forgetting she exist in the drama.

Why, just why are 99% of the female characters in this drama are garbage?! Like apart from Nam Ra, I despised all of them. They are either :
1- So rude, bossy, controlling, violent, foul mouthed, and stuck up like that smoker bitch, archer girl, Na Yeon. Who all keep screaming and treating everyone, especially guys like shit. Which is ironic since the guys are the ones who are truly loyal and doing all the fighting and keep risking their lives to save themselves and the dang girls. Then the girls repay them with insults, cold attitude, kicks, hits, or straight up murder. Of course the guys can't do anything about it but just let it pass cause they are girls...
2- Useless crybabies, damsel in distress, air head type who do nothing helpful and expect others to protect them and listen to their whinny asses like that girl with short hair and pink sweater who keeps falling every five minutes and can't get up on her own for some reason and the FL Ohn Jo.
At least smoker and archer girls did do some fighting to be fair, but it doesn't give them the right to be that stuck up and bitchy. Especially when they use the "I'm your senior so respect me and listen to me no matter what" crap. Who gives a fuck about seniority when you're being rude. If you're rude then you deserve to treated equally rudely. If you hit someone for no good reason, you deserve to be hit back no matter what your gender or age is. I seriously wish I could slap all of them. Also the outcast bullying victim bitch who we were supposed to feel bad for at start but she ends up being one of the most mentally fucked up and shitty characters in the drama...
And then among the guys only the bully dudes and the loser who follows the bully victim girl around are shitty but all other guys are actually good and surprisingly super brave, loyal and quick to act all the time. Male characters are the ones carrying this drama honestly.

Also why are all the girls so freaking annoying and rude? Every single one of them. There are just two types of females in this drama.
1- The stuck up, rude, bossy, violent, controlling, foul mouthed type.
Ex: The archer girl, smoker girl, Na Yeon.
They are all rude and bossy around the guys. When one of the guys talk back they will hit them and be like "respect your senior blah blah". Honestly they deserve to be slapped by the guys. Using the I'm a female and so I can beat up guys for no good reason and they are supposed to handle it logic pisses me off.
2- The useless, damsel in distress, cry baby, who can't even walk nor run properly or just stand like a blank of wood not using her body nor brain to help herself or others.
Ex: the girl with short hair and pink blazer and the FL.

Yes, I get that but I meant they could just hint it or mention it by words that they took a naked video of her and call it a day. They didn't need to show her in that state. That what I'm trying to point to you since first comment.

Indeed! Like the amount of hatred and violence he had was over the top. Like maybe I understand he hated Cheong San or whatever his name was cause he stabbed him in the eye and all that but still why try to kill everyone too like Soo Hyuk or that annoying principle? Is he supposed to be a psychopath?
Along with that Na Yeon bitch, she didn't need to kill that poor dude. I guess his name was Geong Su? Like he barely did anything and she was like I'm lonely, no one listens to me blah blah...(Typical annoying teen brat way of thinking) so I will just kill him! Why are everyone killing each other so easily as if it's a freaking battle royal game?! Even the adults aren't as messed up and violent as the kids and here the kids keep talking shit about the adults which is ironic since in this type of shows the adults are the ones who are mostly fucked up usually.

Hello my fellow romance hater. I also despise romance, especially in thriller, horror, crime and action dramas, but the romance here isn't that much honestly. It's not the main focus but yeah, the drama would be way better without any romance at all.

Exactly! Like while watching Kingdom and Sweet Home, I actually was super interested and cared about the characters and what happens to them. In this drama I just don't care at all if they live or die. The acting here is also not convincing and the students get on my nerves greatly with their shit attitude and rude behavior. There is also the romance crap included, like if I was in such a situation, I wouldn't give two fucks about crushing and all that stuff while I'm on the verge of dying any moment.
