I Managed to finish six episodes till now, but I really wish they didn't go with the love triangle crap. Mr. Cha acts more like Bok Sil and Louie's grumpy yet caring when needed uncle/older brother. He doesn't seem fitting to be a lover for Bok Sil, it just feels kinda gross to me. Like an old man falling for a kid. Also I'm really tired of the whole amnesia thing and Ma Ri is really annoying. Why in every Asian drama there should be at least one super annoying female character.
I finished 18 episodes but I'm not really enjoying the drama that much. Apart from Ji Hoon , Da Bong, Drill, and MJ, I don't really care about any of the other characters. The FL is just meh, annoying at times and just meh most of the time. Ji Hoon's adoptive / step father is annoying as hell. His mother and the grandfather are meh. Other characters are hella annoying (Especially that CEO of the company MJ work for, whose girlfriend / wife to be keep treating him like a retard. Along with miss determination or whatever she is called, whose attitude keep getting on my nerves. All these characters exist for humor sake but they are all stupid in a non funny way). Considering this was one of Cha Eunwoo's first roles according to what I read, he did a really good job as stuck up, self-centered MJ with dry ass humor taste and of course he looks stunning as always. Also Yoon Shi Yoon is slaying that 90's haircut and fashion style. I admit he looks more cute and younger with the modern haircut but the 90's one was way more unique and eye catching. The romance moments are awfully cringe and I don't like what they are trying to go for with the whole love triangle crap. Would rather this drama focus on being a sit-com instead of a rom com. The three girl students who are obsessed with MJ. The one with short hair seems as if she is in her 40's. Why do they looks much older than a high school students? Couldn't they cast actual kids or young adults who look very youthful to play these minor roles?! I feel weird whenever they appear on screen.
Still contemplating to watch this. Somehow this genre doesn't do it for me.
I'm not even a big fan of straight romance stuff, but I loved this drama so I think you should give it a try. The comedy is good too. It's really enjoyable to watch when you're feeling depressed cause it made me feel much better and it easy to watch (No dragging and too much drama). The leads have really great chemistry and their personalities are loveable.
The leads are couple in real life too, I don’t know if they’re still together
According to other comments, they broke up before years due to busy schedules or something of the sort. They seemed perfect for each other though. It makes sense their chemistry was so good in the drama since they were really dating.
The vampire dude (Jun Ho), this is the second time he acts as a vampire. He also was one in The Sweet Blood. Is he gonna keep acting vampire roles in future too? I mean I don't mind, he does gives dope vampire vibe and all but it's kinda funny that he keep getting the same role lmao He is quite hot though to be honest. Like a great mix of Korean actors Lee Dong Wook, Lee Do Hyun, and Thai actor Bright (ML in 2gether and F4 Thai version). Overall till now the drama isn't bad but not that great either. Acting is decent, budget is super low, and plot is meh. I do like that they went with blue eyes for vampires instead of the typical red ones for change. Reminds me a bit of Vanitas no Carte anime.
Made it to the 3rd episode, then I dropped it like a rock. The story was complete shit.
I also watched 3 episodes till now and goddamn everyone makes me hella frustrated! The FL is so boring, dumb, and dull in a way. ML is toxic mostly and creepy at times even. I didn't really care about side characters. I was getting hyped when the Eun Han guy showed since he seemed like this sweet, gentle, perfect, adorable guy who totally deserve the FL feelings and affection. Someone who might heal her of her damn trauma and then BANG! that shit happens with the other girl...Why are everyone cheating on and treating FL like that? Is it cause she can be quite meek at times and gives an easy target vibe? Idk this drama angers me! I'm okay with sex without dating and one night stands...etc but for someone who got out of a very toxic and abusive relationship, that's totally not the right thing to do! Also the fact that ML only decided to care for and worry about FL after another guy seemed to gain her attention instead of him was just sad. He even called cops and stuff over his worry for her and I get some people might find it sweet and all but to me...that doesn't make make feel bad for him, the FL should've just let him go and cut ties with him. That would be better for both of them. The whole concept of dating a playboy/playgirl and hoping love would make them faithful is just absolute bullshit. Playboys and girls/cheaters overall will always stay that way no matter what. They might seem super invested for some time but after they get what they want, they get bored then go for someone new. I wrote a whole essay over my frustration but I couldn't help it since this drama seems to glorify toxicity and non loyal relationships a bit too much. If FL was into open relationships like ML and didn't actually fall for him. ML didn't pretend to be so into her then I wouldn't nag but the whole thing feels wrong and creepy cause she is clearly being treated in very negative way and I already know how the drama will end which made me hate it even more lmao It would be great if they decided to use the main couple as a dark example of how relationships shouldn't be and in the end making the FL abandon the ML like a bag of garbage to focus on herself and being with someone who is actually worthy. But they just gave them this romantic vibe and made it feel as if what they are doing does make sense and is fun.
Bless they really tried to comfort us by letting the straights get it on. Sadly that wasn't enough to save the…
The biggest issue is, I didn't even give a fuck about the straight couple. I watch BL for the LGBTQ+ couples not freaking straights. There are already plenty of straight romance dramas out there lmao
