Can someone explain to me. Earlier in the series, SML is talking to his mum and she’s telling him that he should marry Rong? She also mentioned about her helping the family and something about strings attached. Was she talking about Rong or FL? And then SML told his mum to stop talking. I didn’t really understand that scene. Can someone help explain what all of that meant?

Yes, anyone who’s read the novel can tell us? What’s the deal with SML and Rong? Why did they never clarify whether they were or were not with each other? Why did SML not reply to the message from FL about whether he and Rong were together or not?

Thanks for the explanation. As a non reader of the book, it was confusing to see what she saw in him. He insulted her at every opportunity and like her cousin said to her “it’s ok to not like someone. But why did he have to lead her on”. His mixed signals were so frustrating to watch. He didn’t know what he got until it was gone.

Since you read the novel, can you tell me if Rong appears in the drama again? After her conversation with SML, it seemed like they had finally cut ties and i haven’t seen her in later episodes.

I agree. The ML has such red lipstick, it’s redder than the FL’s lips. I find that strange, that the male has stronger lipstick than the female 😅. He’s gorgeous, he doesn’t need such red lips.

Loved the series! I went in not expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised. I’ve been in a kdrama slump since Lovely Runner, and this is the first one I’ve watched which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Also, I absolutely love Kang Bitna’s outfits throughout the whole show. PSH looked absolutely stunning.
