To be honest I didn't really feel like Wei Lingyue was super upset during the scene where she told Yan Jue about the formula and him rejecting her. I feel like the actress has been quite alright in most scenes, but there she felt a bit flat.

As someone who does not start a drama because of romance I was glad that it took so long before they got together. Dramas like this should focus on the main plot first rather then lovey dovey romance that you get in a regular romcom. I am not against romance, but it's not my main draw towards a drama.
