If you don't mind a very long drama I would say The Story of Minglan, as it is written by the same author and is therefor similar in style. Dreams of splendor is also a very well made production.

Yeah she is 15 at the start. During this time period it was basically around this age a lot of girls got married(based on my limited knowledge). I understand why you might have concerns due to the age difference but when it comes to historical dramas of this kind I tend to not worry about the age to much as it was the standard at that time. There is also very few kisses, more hugs rather, and it moves extremely slowly. Due to the plot there are a separation of 5 years taking place late in the drama so at the end of the drama she is a little older.

I think the dubber for ARP here is the guy that usually dubs Xu Kai as well. I just feel very weird seeing another face compared to Xu Kai with that voice 😂 He is a good dubber though.

I am enjoying it :) The fight scenes are good and there are lots of twists and turns in the story as the people try and win other someone else. There are two larger romances and I think both are quite alright. The romance is not the biggest plot point though so it depends on how much romance you want. I would suggest you try a few episodes and see.

As princesses go in historical dramas I think that Ming Zhu is quite okay. Yes she is quite spoiled but still not as annoying as most princesses tend to be.

I hope Li Quan will be able to be honest with his parents later. Keeping such secrets from your family is difficult after all.
