So we have Di Lanjue who starts with having a crush on Yetan, but he falls for another girl later, and he is a great friend to her anyway.
There is the immortal Bichong, a girl who has a crush on Shaodian Youqin, and she is mean to Yetan but she has very little screentime so she is not really a big problem.
Prince Wudai will also end up liking Qingkui, but he is not a problem either and does not really cause any problems.

I agree that the FL's are gorgeous. You probably think it is similar to AOL because it's the same production team in charge of the drama.

It's a xianxia yes not wuxia.

That is a good question to be honest, but there is no mention of that in the drama.

The focus is mostly on revenge here and Li Chang Ge's personal growth. I'd say this has less romance tbh compared to LLTG.

It reminded me of Medical Examiner Dr Qin, with Zhang Ruo Yun, which I just saw recently for the first time. I am a bit surprised that they have the body chopping as a case since that can be a bit off putting to some viewers.

Now that you mention it yeah it is a little bit of bad timing. The first two episodes were interesting though I think.

Hi :) I liked Jeremy Tsui in The Autumn Ballad so I thought I would check it out. The novel also caught my interest but I have not found a good translation for it.
I saw Meng Ziyi a little in Heroes but I put that one on hold, so I look forward to seeing her in this.
