Costumes very similar to AOL, which not surprising as it's same universe))
I have still not seen that one haha. But I like the "dark side" more simply because I like dark colors lol. If I lived in a xianxia I'd prefer to wear dark clothes compared to shades of white.

He really did! I am also quite pleased since it seems the second sister is not gonna turn super villain like they usually do. Looking forward to seeing how the sml will be as a character.

do i need to watch ancient love poetry before this?
I'd say it depends on if you want to understand the backstory it's good to watch the first one. I imagine we might see some familiar characters form the first story, but I have not read this book so can't say.

I enjoyed episode 2 quite a lot. It is natural that we all do not think every actor in the world is great and all that, but personally I quite like all of these actors. It was fun to see Kkok Du not being the typical stone faced guy that barley makes any expressions at all.

For me I enjoyed the first 20 or so episodes more then the last 16, but I do not regret watching.

I found them on youtube when I searched for Silence of the monster ost. Only the one with Sun Yihan x Bi Wen Jun is on the official iqiyi youtube channel though.
