I like this kind of personality simply because I like the girls who are not afraid of being different. Tricky females are also fun for me, and not just having smart male leads. Respectable personalities as you put it I often find boring and dull and just your average run of the mill character. But then SS is still a kid so she will do more growing up in part 2. Hope you have someone else you like :)

On one hand I think it's great if she does end up in this. I just hope that she gets a male lead without all the toxic fans.

Well we know they will break up and she will get engaged to Yuan Shen and in the MV for the theme song we can see LBY on the battlefield looking like time has passed. So I don't know if they will keep it as 5 years or if it will be lesser. But I am quite sure there will be a longer separation.

Yes indeed! Part two started right after part 1 ending with 27 :)

The novel is from SS perspective and the drama has already added more scenes of the ML compared to the start of the novel. If you are only watching for the ML you would indeed feel there is not that much screen time at the start. As the leads get closer we will get more scenes, also the fact that his revenge journey will be more prominent later :)
This drama focuses on it's ensemble cast and not just the leads which is why there are so many extra characters as well.

For me the biggest concern with this IP is that ALP was not that well received in China, so why on earth would they make a sequel?

Think it might be since they started filming?
