Yes seeing him in Shen Li made me more excited for this, I knew of this drama before hand but I found his acting quite good in Shen Li.

Well considering its based on a game, that's how it was written I guess 🙃 Personally I don't mind, I know a lot of shy people. My guess is that it will be part of her character growth, other then coming to terms with her heritage etc.

I really liked her, and not sure why it seems to be almost no one else who does xD I am glad you didn't find her annoying and liked the actress.

I find the youku subs on this quite good, as it's manually subbed. They have some ai subs on some shows, but this is quite good. Haven't really noticed any big faults yet.

The two main leads are introduced in the first episode, the rest in ep 3 so you will have some time to get used to them. I liked the first ep, but someone else said they found it a bit slow. So far I think it's a nice story.

Well the emperor does as the emperor wants, he didn't like what grandpa Hua said so he decided to remove the thorn in his side. I imagine there will be an explanation later in the series why the emperor did what he did.

I think he sounds the same as he does in My roommate is a detective tbh, + on dramawiki it doesn't say he is dubbed and they are usually quite good at listing the dubbers for main leads.

It's magical clothes! We can't after all have a unclothed girl lying around in the forest, so for convenience if she does a full transformation her clothes magically disappear and reappear 🤣

I mean they are supposed to care about the world, which they do in some situations. And yet they don't really care enough to help in the immortal world etc + treating immortals as lesser beings.
