Netflix viewership would skyrocket if they actually translated the drama into other languages.I see lots of people…
I completely agree with you. Right now in Greece, only those who know English can watch it on Netflix. The good thing is that an illegal site has taken it due to its popularity, to translate it into Greek. That way, more and more people can watch it. This show truly deserves to be translated into every language.
not only in Europe even in Africa.. many of us here itās now our favorite drama..
Exactly!! The haters just canāt accept the huge impact this series has made, and no matter how much they try, this time they canāt bring it down and that makes them angry. š¤
My comment is in response to an ironic remark I read here claiming that the series is only ranking high in Asian countries and that the rest of us are ācelebrating for nothingā because itās supposedly not doing well worldwide.
Honestly, itās a bit funny when some people try to downplay the success of a series just because they personally donāt like it. Pursuit of Jade has already gained a large international audience and is being discussed everywhere, not only in Asia.
For example, here in Greece there are many c-drama fans, and we are definitely not a small group. Right now, for many of us, itās the No.1 series and one of the most talked about Asian productions at the moment. So no⦠nobody is ācelebrating for nothing.ā
Itās just that some people still havenāt realized that c-dramas have a global audience. And irony doesnāt change that fact at all. š
This drama is a true gem. The quality of the production, the writing, and especially the performances are outstanding. Every episode carries so much emotion that itās impossible not to feel deeply connected to the story and the characters.
Seven Tan once again proves what an incredible actress she is. She always chooses meaningful projects and delivers performances full of sincerity and depth. She seems like a very humble and low profile person who simply focuses on her craft and that dedication clearly shows on screen.
I like this show so much that I honestly donāt know how Iām going to explain it to my therapist š Itās the first time Iām watching something I donāt understand at all, and yet I absolutely love it š
What kind of ridiculous ending was that? I thought I must be mistaken that it had only 24 episodes, so I came here to check, and yep⦠it really is 24 š I love the leads and theyāve done quite a few great dramas, but this one, unfortunately, just wasnāt that good.
Thereās no way there wonāt be developments involving the female leadās friendās husband. This guy is definitely hiding something. That sweet face he puts on and his overall mysterious vibe donāt convince me at all. Either heās cheating on her with his former classmate (he had a very suspicious look when she was mentioned at the table), or heās hiding something related to his job.
Either way, heās an excellent actor. He has completely managed to confuse us. He nailed exactly the subtle, ambiguous vibe this role needs perfectly.
If anyone has read the novel and knows whatās really going on with him, please tell me. I love spoilers š¤

The ending left me with a smile, and thatās more than enough for me. ā„ļø
