I also think is the scripts the actor and his company pick. The director and production because some scripts are great but the vision the director has is not that great.
Some actors are amazing at their job but even them can't save the drama.

Yeah I have watched all his dramas except one because it has no subs. I Like his acting so I can't wait for his next dramas.

Maybe I expected more, I love his last drama Time to Fall in Love and the chemistry was great maybe I went in expecting that.

Rich CEO meets Village martial arts girl. Love to Hate. Male lead with traumas. Annoying lead girl.

I was eagerly waiting for this drama to release but I was disappointed. I love both lead actors, but I didn't feel the chemistry. For me the chemistry is there even before the kisses or romance scenes, and I didn't feel it. The plot is very cookie cutter, nothing new. I totally dislike the lead girl for at least half of the drama. She was simply too much. She was too intrusive and annoying. Also we had 24 episodes so they could have developed the plot but like always they decide to throw at us everything on the last 5 episodes. And what was up with the brother. He was there for the first few episodes, and he disappeared and boom he came at us like a tornado. I love the grandpa though hahaha. This actor OMG He surely knows how to kiss, the actress tried but he seemed to advance for her hhahaha. The only thing the save this from being a big big fail was the episodes of them living together, the few sweet moments I enjoyed and a few moments where she made him shy away (when she saw his muscles and also in the village in his room hahaha)

Ooh that’s totally understandable and some on the contrary like me I don’t want to watch what I am living. I want to watch or read the contrary: Doesn’t mean I have a bad life maybe boring hahhaa but not bad. I’m a stay at home mom and wife with a great hubby that pampers me and I have lost of free time: which is great but it can get boring :)

I stayed watching for the secondary couple and sorry but to me she looks older than her age which usually doesn’t happen to Asian people: on some scenes she looked her age or younger but on 90 percent to me she looked older. But again you may see her and see a youthful face but I didn’t. We all see, hear and smell things differently. Your beauty may be my ugly or Vice versa.
Again I respect you see and think she is not old and I simply don’t think the same :) have a good day.

Hehehe I am not afraid of aging, it’s for other reasons, I’m not age shaming either, also I don’t find her that attractive but if I say that I also be attacked because everyone gets triggered by everything if it doesn’t agree with what they say or think and like you said on your last sentence to each their own. I’m glad you like that age group and I’m glad you like her and her age. Bravo! But I don’t and that should be okay. Because I respect you and your taste, I should receive the same courtesy.

Yeah maybe I am but I bet everyone has a trope in a drama they don’t watch, maybe they don’t watch BL that maybe has an amazing plot, or maybe on the contrary than me they don’t watch a younger cast, or they don’t watch fantasy or suspense. We all have preferences :) and that is what makes us human.

Ooh totally respect that(that you prefer mature romance) , I just prefer when is not like over mid thirties. I still tolerate like early thirties. I prefer a younger cast and by seeing the actress picture she looks younger, so I decided to watch it. Again my fault for not checking hehe
My point is that the picture of the lead actress looks like is an old picture of her maybe they should updated it, they did for Ji Hoon he didn’t have long hair until around Flower of Evil.

Is that a updated photo of the lead actress? because I kept looking for someone that looked like that actress (on the profile picture) in the drama and later in to the episode I figure out is the older lady with short hair, I’m like no way!
It’s cause I don’t watch like older Middle Age actor dramas (Penthouse for example I only watched For the younger actors and skipped the older actors parts.) and by the picture I thought she was in her twenties. My fault tho for not clicking on her profile :(
Maybe I’ll stay watching for that other actress.

Hahaha she is 24 not a underage girl. She also doesn’t play a underage character so the predator behavior doesn’t go.
