The rating on this site counts for nothing, I remember a famous Chinese actress super famous drama here it had a 9 in China tv had like 7.
What counts is Chinas rating is what gets the Chinese actress and actors awards.

Look let’s be sincere here, I’m watching very popular c dramas with popular actors as leads and all of them have their great episodes and their boring ones, simply is what writers do to not expose anything too fast.
This one is not an exception.
The chemistry makes it worth it.

The difference is that the leading actresses of the other dramas have hardcore fandom who make fake profiles and rate their faves high multiple times, delulu fans who can’t accept their fave dramas can also be slow and repetitive meaning high ratings.
This one is at 7.7 and I can tell you the others aren’t that great to be 8 point something.

I’m so pissed even if I read the long summary of the novel where practically they told us everything that will happen very detailed, and they mention a new girl would coming in his life, pisses me off she is all sweet and smart and young, pissed me off he was interested the moment he saw her. The mom definitely has something to do with it!

He will be added to the my shitty character list if he cheats or starts to grow feelings for her because the FL didn’t go thru all that abuse physically and emotionally to date him for him to do that!!
