Nicely done. Plot, acting, scenography, ost..... 9.5/10 But That one actor with his role gave this show the most significant blow, made this show shine and made me love it even more .
Kudos to Qin Tian Yu! He brought his character to life and made it eternal. Gave us an opportunity to feel rainbow of emotions , expressing every one of it perfectly...from craziness,to disdain, pain, sorrow, hope,happiness, even love and helplessness. Sacrificing his 'face' as someone great as an Emperor in his last moments, for something he couldn't have and someone who couldn't love him back, made his character even more exceptional.
p.s. I can't lie, I wish he could've had a chance to redeem himself and finally get a family that needs him, to be important to them as himself and not as a person of authority.

Qin Tian Yu is a great actor and because of him I loved his role as an Emperor. I wish he had a chance to redeem himself and finally get someone ,a family, that needs him. 😭 Whole show was great, but with him staying alive and having HE with little princess and the baby would be perfect.🥺

They wanted to follow the novel by killing Chu Zhao's maid , but the way they killed her was insultingly stupid in the show. Seems like they couldn't go with the novel prince and taking the trone ark and just pushed Chu Zhao to be a lunatic.
