Through the novel , ML is always cold, never showed openly any emotion...but his actions speak louder than words. Sometimes I feel he loves her more in the novel 😁yet he's more romantic in the show. Yes, they shaped the novel very obscure for who knows what reason (censureship, or LiSi' face changing ..) but with reading the novel, everything is much understandable.

First 30 episodes of SL were all the same, he following her and prolonged honeymoon phase. What's worth are last 8 ep and Cheng Lei's acting.
