Just finished re-watching it ( it's my 4th time). I know, I know, I'm crazy and obsessed. And every time I enjoy even more then the first time . Story, acting, OST..omg OST , It's my sleeping music... The Long Ballad with be perfect if we had actual kissing scenes, both main couples would have better image of their relationship. Soup opera is so amazing, just like Arsenal Military Academy, Word of Honor and Go Go Squid. You can watch these shows every month and never be bored. If you guys have any recommendations for historical/modern drama with great couples, strong FL,without cliches and of course happy ending , I would be grateful. <3
I really tried to like it. But no, I am so disappointed. Story had a good basic plot, but some actions from the beginning were unrealistic and stupid...like FL running around ML, teasing and lying to him. Time jump was unnecessary. Where did the 2nd leads disappear? What was about her dead friend and her job at the end, always problems with elevators, surgery??...And is there something between ML and his stepmother? That part of a story is missing too/ Ok , this was the first soup opera for ML, but FL ....her acting is always the same, in every drama. I should have drop it .The show is overrated.
W is a mess, but because of Lee Jong Suk it's a beautiful mess. Plot is good, parallel worlds, mystery, romance..but some episodes are boring , dragging and repeating , that made me take a break with the drama. Anyway, I love LJS and I will watch everything with him in it.

I don't know if it's because I'm not young and teenager, or I see all with different type of eyes. After some time watching Asian dramas and reading about their entertainment industry, I find this drama very convincing. Story is cliche- hate to love, but most of the dramas are. I put myself in FL shoes and i can imagine doing the same thing in an act of anger. Working hard but everyone is using you, being on the lowest position even though you're good in your job, find out your boyfriend have a male lover and he's using you to confirm his sexuality. Even with one problem, you can feel anxious but...you even got accused for something without having opportunity to defend yourself, just because the guy who accused you is a famous and arrogant. Add drinking and everything is on the perfect spot. After all the problems FL got fired. Yes, that was the last drop. So she acts out of anger. After some time relationship between main couple starts to improve. Knowing each other, seeing that you're not always the type of person you seems to represent is a good start . I don't find FL irritating, on the contrary. She's smart, brave,sincere and mature. She's ready to confront with everyone and everything. ML is cute, typical star, but in his hart he is a good boy without bad intentions. Every job have complications, lies and framing up. And in show business even more. So relationship between ML and FL being secret is understandable. And being together without a break up is really great . So one plus more for the show. So trough the show, we saw growing of two persons( she learned to control her temper, and he to confront with problems and not run away ). 2nd leads and their relation with ML is complicated from the start. 2 ML and his obsession, jealousy and envying are on another level. 2 FL is a emotionally fragile person. So when you mix this two , their relationship is a mess. We saw it clearly in the show. And no, I do not like the the ending for these two. They should have been separated to heal first, and after that to see what's going on with their emotions. OST is very like-able. Specially song ''It's You'' from Moon Kim. Anyway, for me this is a good, real life drama. Nothing in the world is easy, a worry free and no one is perfect. Communication and sincerity are the basic for every type of relationship. I'll re-watch this drama , for sure . Give it a try . We all have a different taste.

First 3 episodes were my favorite. ML is a bandit , intelligent Robin Hood, cruel at the the first look. FL is a 2nd daughter in her family, with kind heart and cheerful spirit. Chemistry between main couple was high at the beginning, but as soon as ML came to royal academy, chemistry started to fade. I saw her as his pet ( he called he Little Monkey), and not because of her nick name. She was always jumping around him, saying 'I am sorry', and yes, he was there for her too, teasing her, protecting her... but I wanted to see more emotions, how they fall in love and no just 'you're my wife. Do not try to leave me ' or 'nobody wants me, you don't like me either'. Every step of falling in love, we can see in 2nd couple. And their story was pretty good until the wedding. After that, nothing. They were just there for their friends. With FL growing character, we saw , she became strong minded, good in martial arts(*and its disappear in last episodes), but still submissive . Oh, and her irritating voice. Subtitle was incorrect in some parts (so I didn't know is ML saying 'lets be together' or 'I like when you're in my arms'. Anyway, 40 episodes is really long, maybe 24-30 ep. would be perfect. So if you wanna see average drama and relax, you're on the right place.
I liked most of her character in "Love is sweet" but I wish she were stronger and with more spine to stand up…
I like her character in Love is sweet, and I saw her as strong and independent woman. . Don't now why you thing she was not strong enough? In Lucky's first love(modern drama) she is silly and clumsy but not weak. If you want to see her in a badass mode, watch Arsenal Military Academy (Republican era), it's really great drama (my favorite one), or The Legends (historical). Both dramas are wih Xu Kai ( chemistry between them is amazing).

Opening theme song is not appropriate for the historical show. Some OST instrumental is the same as instrumental in The Legends. :( Main couple is cute. I like the energy between them. Chemistry is fine, but kissing scene are not so good. ML is really cute with his baby face. Secondary couples have a lot scenes together. What I like the most, main couple have no break up . They show us how FL slowly fall in love with ML, even though , she first fall in love with his secret identity . In my opinion, this drama deserve at last 8/10. Watched more stupid dramas with higher rating. I will rewatch it again, for sure.

Expected more of a 2nd couple . And what about ML aunt? At the end, she is not a bad person? I didn't like how all we saw was FL acting like a nanny , and not as a MD. ML is obsessed with contracts...so boring. Anyway, in every soup opera we have FL who would do anything for money. Blackmailing for money , com'on. This episode was our ticket for walk into the past. Episodes 11 and 12 were confusing, what was the story between ML an ML''s ex boyfriend? Who is going to be the one for heartbroken ML? It was nice to see how ML loved his ex, but wasn't loved back enough. If there is a season 2, I would be really happy to watch.
Story is nice and enjoyable.I like it. Jin Yu Zhen is a complex character with all the scars from the past. Shi Lei is cute and honest guy. Chemistry between them is is so high, makes this story so much better and interesting. 2nd couple, well, no chemistry at all. Their story is similar to a 2nd couple in HIStory3: make our days count( chemistry was top of the roof), but these guys are not even pleasant to watch. Special episode is a must to watch. It shows us what happened in the past. If you are a BL lover, this is a nice soup opera , do not miss it.
Ending is ok, but I would like to see what happened with other characters in a present time. Mo Ran is my favorite person in whole drama. Shame he wasn't the ML. Love how they show us a beautiful friendship between Fei Fei and Xie Yu Ran , and not jealousy. So, the reason for Fei Fei's time travel was to save them all. I like that part, she sacrifice herself for all of them.
As a fan of Sean Xiao, I was so happy to see him in modern military drama ( even Bai Lu is a guest in it). But after everything they have done to SX, I thing I'll boycott it. Nobody deserves to be unrecognized and moved to the side.

ML is nothing . Xiao Zhan would be better for ML. Story about zodiac are nice, but its like comedy/parody. 7.5/10
