Uh, I'm more than 2 years in BL world, but this one is giving me so much headache. Show like show is ok, but the script....
What bothers me the most is that Yuan was very young when he got into Wei family. He was like 7-10years old. Wei Qian should've stayed as father/brother figure. If Yuan stepped into Wei family a little bit older, like a teenager...then his relationship with Qian would have more sence. Like in The On1y One, both were older, when they become a family.
LiLi's and San Pang's relationship was totally unnecessary in this plot. Anyway, it was okey for binge watching. 8/10

I've no problem with Zhou Mo, he's 'still ' mysterious character. As for married couple, they could've been even interesting, as not many series shows us marriage problems, but maybe because the story of main couple is going really slow, we don't have patience for them .
I expected whole drama to be different and it's all because of this sentence 'They went from being classmates and friends to becoming partners, building a family, and facing life together.' Literalistic me ๐๐คฃ
I thought 1st 1/3 would be their school time, 2nd 1/3 their relationship and the last, 3rd 1/3 would be their married life. Equal parts for all episodes. But what they've done was just forcing so much irrelevant stories. Not to mention 3rd (married) couple ๐ and their screen time.๐คฏ They made 2nd couple insignificant. ๐ Let's hope they'll get their justice in the last 5 episodes. As for the mains, they're cute together, their transit was like a river flow , steady and natural. But all those interrupted moments are way out of line (it's more like parody than comedy ๐) .
This show is perfect for binge watching. Can't wait tomorrow to finish it all ๐

In most of his shows, he doesn't. That's why fans are mad. In Miss Crow with Mr. Lizard, he had doubler for a kissing scene...not to mention one kiss in F&E. There're kissing scenes in the novel ,so why wouldn't be on the screen? No, it's not my problem, it's his. He is famous because of his fans and if they're not satisfied, what do you think it would be, with time? We can agree to disagree. I'm not satisfied and that's it .

Wtf.. ok, I'll draw it to you. If you're professional actor, there's no scene you can't do or act. Yes, in a romantic show I want to see normal things...hugs,kisses even nc scenes. I'm not in a kindergarten nor all those things are taboos. If he can't perform some scenes that are in the script,then he should find another project . This isn't his first time ... I don't care if he has wife, kid or 10 of them. Acting is personal profession and not obligation. As for me, you can watch teletubbies, I want shows with normal performances.
Started great, but few episodes before the end,they just let us down. And no, ending wasn't the problem. We already knew it would be ๐ญ, but we had hope for he or even open ending...๐ Anyway, they restored Pei Yan's character, that's good. His mother's storyline was weak and wasted. Yet everything else was pretty standard for historical drama.
One thing that bothered me was kissing scene. Alen Ren should start chosing non romantic dramas. If he's professional actor, then he should deliver kissing scene, like everyone else. He's not the first nor the last actor who is married. If he can't act some scene, then that's his problem and someone else should get the part. I like him as an actor, but this isn't the first show where they made changes because of him.

Yeah , they messed up that part. The only explanation would be that when she was pulled by police/inspectors/inside control was that they're dealing with confident material so she couldn't use her phone (but still that part was ๐๐ป)
