Sorry for disappointing you, but TTJ character is a masterpiece. The show is good, but not that good. If you've time, watch it.

No , ML is far away from TTJ character. In first few episodes you'll get the feeling this show would be fill of angst, desire, love play...but after few episodes, all those just disappear. I'm not sure who 1st falls in love, maybe ML...but 2ML isn't part of the love triangle, bc FL sees him as a friend, benefactor .. They got together in the middle of the show, but (again) after few episodes they go separate ways.

For me , The Rise of Ning is better, but that's my personal opinion. I had great hopes for this one,but an the end it's just like any other drama where they fight for the throne, love and lie to each other...

I can feel that goddaughter will make YiNing's life miserable. I want FL's 'father' to have a shitty life and all his kids to turn their backs on him.

His 1st role was in Forever and Ever (S2 of One and Only) with Bai Lu. And his character was a real goody . He isn't my favorite, but hopefully with time he'll be. He needs more main roles (preferably in romances).
