All of the talk about studying Philosophy is more than a hint to look for a deeper reading, I'm sure. So, I wonder…
If I remember it right, Plato said there's a line between the sensible (physical) world and the intellegible world (perfect world of ideas). The sensible world is just an illusion and Eros (love) is what makes you see reality. Eros is a bridge between human and divine worlds, freeing people from foolishness.
Of course I watched it, it's weird just how I like it π It has a lot in common with JinrΕ Shokei Game (and with its prequel, even if the director was different). However, both movies are very low rated, mostly because of bad acting. It didn't bother me at all (maybe because I'm used to low-budget productions π ) and I hope you'll appreciate them as well
Thank you for posting this movie. I love creepy and weird horror movies with barely any violence. It reminds me of JinrΕ Shokei Game ( Guillaume Tauveron directed both so I guess that's why they look so similar)
I don't even remember marking it as complete lol. I'm still watching (I actually check your site quite often, I'm a huge fan of forgotten and almost lost media )
I believe that Nagi is Shinigami or somenthing like that. He always insists to be called by his name and "calling death by its name" is an euphemism of acknowledging the inevitability of death .
