I'm so thrilled that he looks more filled out like his earlier series. I felt like the 2 back-to-back Lost You Forever series might have caused him to lose too much weight while filming.

How did we get so lucky? New costume series are coming out at the speed of light these days. Gone are the days where you had to watch filler series or the best of the shorts in between.

Such a great watch. Story line is fast paced and lots of action. I'm sad that Bai Lu said in her recent interview that she's not taking on this type of idol drama anymore due to her age and, like Yang Mi, is moving on to serious dramas where she can eat up the scenery due to her acting ability. On the other hand, we have to be happy for her that she has a clear vision of where she wants her career to go at this stage in her life.

I'd rather have a court jester than the slapstick comedy in GOTD. It's good but that slapstick is cringy at times.

ZJW did a great job in his last full length series with Bai Lui. Nice to see him again, even if it's a mini, but hope the industry makes full use of his talents in longer series in the future.

Yes, this trope is in many c-dramas. I always wait for the real passion to begin as those frozen kisses where nothing moves are painful to watch as the seconds go by, tick, tick, tick and nothing moves, lol.

I am too, except for the frozen lip-sicle kiss in ep 13, lol. I know it's supposed to mean she was surprised by it but I'll wait for the real thing in future episodes where there is actual movement.

I've come to the determination that, with these c-dramas, a lot of them end on a sad note; thus, I just use my imagination to make it end the way I want to. That way, you can finish the drama or you can watch to the second to last episode and then not finish the very end. Hope something works for you so you don't have to pass up these great c-dramas.

At ep 11, the slapstick is through the roof, lol. Not usually my thing as well but it has enough action, story line and a great cast that I'm enjoying it.
