ALP had 9 more episodes to cover the story. TLI, with less episodes, stuck more to the romance and story of the main leads. IMO, the rating suffered for not being able to flesh out the story more. It's a shame the limit is 40 episodes now and not 50. I rated it high and loved the story regardless.

Probably because they spent their entire HMU budget on ZLS's gorgeous outfits, lol. All kidding aside, I think they made him look a little washed out the same way they made Dylan washed out by the light clothes and wig they chose for him in Miss The Dragon. Dylan looked way better in LBFAD with darker tones. Hopefully, Anyu will have a better wardrobe and makeup setup in his next series.

They'll both grow and mature if this follows most c-drama stories of this nature. Bai Lu was more than just an unlikable bully at the beginning of her latest series, SOKP; however, she redeemed herself by the end. I'm finding it entertaining while waiting for other series to start.

Watchable, not the best in its genre.

This actor needs a better agency to get him roles as the ML in Wuxia / xianxia / historicals. The FL in Deliberations of Love is starting to get hefty roles in some big budget series; however, they still have him pigeon holed in mini dramas. Hoping to see him as the ML in bigger budget series someday.

That's interesting. I thought maybe you had to be using the app but it didn't work for you either. Since Tencent is based in China, it might be a geographical thing but you'd think a company as big as Tencent would let their customers know, lol.

I get it. I live in the modern world so modern dramas aren't my cup of tea. i started Arang awhile back but am only a few episodes in. It doesn't pick up the pace as fast as other dramas so I'll probably watch and episode here and there to finish it as the story is interesting enough.

His series A Journey To Love is one of the best hits of 2023 so there will be more haters. Luckily, he's good at tuning out the negativity and his media responses to negative comments is on point. The haters will be left behind as his star continues to rise.

That Gu girl is so conniving. I'm glad she's not getting what she wants so far. I'm on episode 35. That was the saddest wedding I think I've seen yet. However, I wasn't expecting that sword scene. That was exactly what was needed to break that tense mood, lol.

I had a WeTV subscription for the U.S. and could never rate any series after watching using my laptop. It might be different if you watch the series using an app. I also searched around and there was never any useful info online about how to rate.

Your comments are on point. It dragged a bit for me when they moved to the Palace part and started talking about finances for episodes on end. I had to take a break and come back. I'm on episode 33 and it looks like it's moving out of the Palace for awhile, thankfully.

Yes, Isn't that crazy. Any 40 episode series that needs to go longer to season 2 to tell the story now has to wait a year before season 2 can air.

It's rated 8.9 on MDL which is really high. I thought the FL did just fine in the series. Crown Prince SH pops up here and there throughout both seasons as this is based on historical events.

The Rowoon one wasn't my cup of tea; however, have you seen My Dearest S1 and S2? I thought that one was really well done with and engaging story.

The historical story should draw you in to continue. It unfolds through each episode through the 11th episode; thus, it does build and get better.
