I’m sad to see it go. I enjoyed it immensely. The MDL page lists a S2 so I was hopeful but her remarks so final.

Just came across it on Tubi so I’m in for a rewatch!! Found it on YouTube a few years ago (maybe 2021?) after searching all over for it and absolutely loved it. I gave it a 10/10.

The monk was the chairwoman’s son. I thought we’d learn the son’s memorial plaque was kept at the temple the chairwoman visited but he was alive.

It’s still on the Korean Film Archive YouTube channel. I completed it without rating it. Compared to today’s standard wouldn’t be fair.
