12th door was meant for RLZ only which is to purify the game.

Many think that everything is only Jiushi's dream while he was in a coma. [Majority viewers]
There are also other opinion that everything is real, everything happened inside the game world. [Minority virwers including me]

There are 3 worlds exist.
1. The real world. 2. The world inside the game where the main setting on the story. 3. The world inside the door.

After the game is compeletely purified/ restored, the game world and the door world are completely erased, disappeared along with the program [Ruan Lanzhu]
Everybody returned to their real life which is really different from their life in the game world without having any memories of their survival journey inside the game world before.
Only Jiushi retained his memories, because he is like the 'technician' of the game, someone who hold the program [Ruan Lanzhu] to restore/delete the game to its original.

Ling Jiushi didn't re-create the whole game. What he created was the 12th door only, the door that was never created by Gao Dawei before.
He created the 12door as the Spiritual Realm [world], a place where his Ruan Lanzhu and Obsidian family [including Tan Zaozao and Li Dongyua] lived together happily.
Those people are NPC that only exist inside that 12th door.
Ling Jiushi re-created them all as NPC with their memory intact as before the game was purified/restored.

I usually end up downloading series that I really like so I can rewatch it anytime I want.
This Spirealm really worth to watch many times, kinda like obsessed about it.
Don't worry, once you finish, you can go back to rewatch whenever you miss them.

This novel is quite angsty to me. Realistic one if we think about the life in China where everything is bounded by norm, tradition, and strict law.
It kinda reminds me of 'Have you been well?' that has quite similar plot and angst.
It's a good book but not the one that I will read again.
Actually, I'm not really into Priest's book. Of all her works, I only 1 book which is her early work back in 2010.

LDY asked RLZ for clues to the 9th door and willing to par for high price.
RLZ said he didn't want his 'dirty' money but asked LDY to accompany LJS to the door instead.
Then when LJS prepared himself to enter the door alone, RLZ basically gave lots of words stating his worry that made LJS annoyed.

He also never asked for payment [money] to help other newcomers crossing the door.
Ruan Lanzhu was never angry to Ling Jiushi.
He did yell 2 times at Ling Jiushi but not because of anger.
It's only about the number of episodes and duration only.
As far as I remember, there has never been scene like that.
