I did a deep dive and someone made a comment on reddit that I found the most logical. Apparently the ML and FL are good at faking their death (We did not actually actually see Ning's and Ruyi's dead bodies). Also, in the Beipan camp, the guy from the scarlet team who signaled the others to raid the camp actually helped her escape. Since I love a good ending, I choose to accept this theory. But there is a lot of holes.

Wait… was that really the lead’s son? It looked like Chu Yue was hallucinating—or maybe it was some sort of life-after-death scenario. But how could he be the ML’s son when Ruyi died in that tent with the Beipan officials? I came to the comments see how people interpreted the ending.
wtf... did they change the writers after ep. 35? The pace went up really fast and everything is kinda confusing.…
I knooooww. All over sudden the MOST POWERFUL assassin is reduced to the most fragile weak person ever. it was confusing to watch how they weakened her character in the last episodes.
I haven’t cried so much in a long time. When Yuan LU DIED I WAS BAWLING..
SAME!!!!!!Each death was so painful to watch. I was Bawliiiingg. I think I'll take a break from watching these C-traumas because what were those last 10 episodes.
Should have checked the ending sooner...I'm dropping this. Sigh!
Wish I had looked up the ending too because now I'm drowning in a pool of tears. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend anyone to watch past episode 30—it's pure HEARTBREAK!!!!!!
