Exactly. The ratings were very high from the first episode and it never wavered. I loved it from the start and not because he's hot but because theygot 've great chemistry ,and he's actually a great ML whose sweet, funny and faithful, and a great actor. And sure, being handsome adds some more enjoyment.

So apparently Top rated dramas are rated because of looks, and favorite actors. So Goblin, Decendants of The Sun, It's Okay To Not Be Okay, Flower Of Evil, Alchemy of Souls, My Mister, Go Ahead, The Untamed, Crash Landing On You, Mr. Queen, My Dearest, Mr. Sunshine and countless other popular dramas are only rated because the MLS are hot and not because the dramas themselves are masterpieces. Think again people. Not everyone is as shallow as you. It's fine to not like this but when you call other people shallow because of that it's a bit silly in my opinion

Well, I'm not even a fan of BWS, he's too skinny. But I loved this. So it's dumb to say it's only popular because of looks.

I hope the romance is as great as The Double, or The Story of Kunning Palace. I know it's not the same story lines but I love how they've been doing those deep slow burn love stories. They need to keep it up. And fI eel like that kind of love would suit this story.

I think that's how it was supposed to be honestly. Aoran was the version of Tian Xing that was all the worst parts of him. His aarogance, his fear, ect. While Tain Xing was the more controlled version. He says something about that in the end, how he's grateful she loved even the worst part of himself.

That's just her. It becomes a little better after some serious stuff happens to her, but like I said that's just who her character is so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah, they were just friends if I'm remembering correctly. And yeah, I bawled my eyes out over his love. No one's love ends well in this story. 🥹It's so depressing.

I don't think he ever loved FL actually. He's one of the only ones where she actually had a real friendship with her without having any romantic feelings for her.

Most of the second season is about them trying to figure out how to be together and there are a lot of sweet scenes. The Story of Kunning Palace is the one where the romance doesn't start til the last 10 Episodes.

Is there anywhere that people say The Double is making fun of LLTG? The Double is based off a novel of its own. So I don't understand where the conflict is coming from or why it even needs to be brought up. There's many dramas that have similar things happen. Does Ziao Heng have 2 body guards in the novel or did they really make the second one up just so they could make fun of LLTG? That's the silliest thought ever I've heard of, and it would be a waste of money you have to pay an additional actor just to poke fun of another drama. 🤷🏼‍♀️
