I like the premise, central idea, of this. Started out good, but the novelty wore off about halfway. Trying to watch to the end, but I find myself fast-forwarding
I dont know about y’all, but I was so disgusted by the ending that I had to “revenge watch” a few sweet romcoms with happy endings just to recover from it. Might also need some therapy, but no way I’ll use Xing Zhi Zhi’s therapist - he is a total idiot
Dropped after the 4th episode. Imho, ML is a bully and jerk. He gets away with physically assaulting his new teacher in ep 1, then later on forces a kiss on her in front of all students. He actually grins after committing these awful acts, taking pleasure in it. Some people here have minimized his cruelty as just mischief of a troubled youth. I’m guessing because he is handsome he can get away with it. A few people have commented that he “changes” his behaviour after a few episodes, but he still seems like a bully and jerk. The only difference is that he now has a crush on the FL teacher. Let me guess he is a bully with a heart of gold ?
He is trying to passive-aggressively rebel against his mother by using the FL and hurting everyone around him. Here’s an idea: why doesn’t he just stand up to his mother directly and just tell her to stop “controlling” him and the entire school. He can threaten to quit school if she doesn’t back off since this would then defeat all she is trying to achieve. Why drag everyone else into this mess? For someone who supposedly has a high IQ he sure seems dumb. When you think about it, he is essentially using the same tactics as his mother, using and threatening others to get what he wants. This makes him no better than his mother. Some people say he is just acting out because he is spoilt and rebelling against his b*tch of a mother. Guess that literally makes him a son-of-a-b*tch. Lol.
Finally, why does the FL teacher fall for this jerk? Just because he did a few “nice” things for her does not excuse his terrible and abusive behaviour toward her. I’ve seen several dramas where a teacher ends up loving a student (not that I condone that - eww!). But in all of those other dramas the students were decent people who treated their teacher with respect. Imho, having the FL teacher fall in love with this narcissistic manipulative jerk just reinforces the toxic male approach of “treat her like garbage and she will fall for you.”
Watched the whole series to the end. I actually think the ending is quite realistic and appropriate (no spoilers here). At the end everyone has learned some valuable lessons but they paid a price for those lessons. I recommend this series for those who are mature enough to appreciate the life lessons in this show. Thought the acting was pretty good.

Dropped this after the 1st ep. The writers and PD seem to think it is funny comedy to falsely accuse someone, bully them and ruin their life. Bullying and false accusations are very serious problems for students in real life.
