Not Bad, Just Not the Ghost Story I Was Expecting
A decent and watchable drama, though ultimately quite average for me.
I think part of my disappointment came from having the wrong expectations going in. Based on the summary, I was expecting a stronger supernatural-investigation element, with more emphasis on individual ghost cases, paranormal incidents, and uncovering the truth behind them.
Instead, the story gradually moves in a more character-driven direction. The focus becomes the characters and their relationships, their personal growth, and the mystery surrounding the Daji family, while the supernatural aspect becomes less prominent.
It’s an interesting shift, but it wasn’t quite what I was looking for.
That said, I wouldn’t say it was bad. It remained reasonably entertaining throughout and was easy enough to watch. At 6.5/10, I’d describe it as average but watchable—good for a casual watch, just not something I’d go into expecting a full-on supernatural mystery.
