Talking about "overrated", look at Addicted/Heroin. I loved that too (yes, I melted seeing Johnny and ZhouZhou together), but the novel was like a bad written, smutty fanfiction with cliche seme and uke and even rape. That reminds me of the time when I started writing BL stories (now I'm writing about murder lol) and I had to compete with such authors. Good luck! Writing a good story with good plot and interesting characters isn't enough to attract readers. People are in need of some questionable things. I'm very generous with my rating. TWM is a 10 for me, even though the story itself is maybe a7 (or 6.5). Sotus storyline was pretty mature and smart, but the love story was too cheesy for me. But objectively speaking I think it's good. I don't care about looks that much. Yes, Korn would be 100 times more attractive if he would look like in Bad Romance (with lesser muscles), but if Knock likes him, that's all that matters :P
It isn't as popular as SOTUS and 2Moons that's for sure.... And it isn't fair since, and I say that even though…
Talking about "realistic plot". In TWM they at least adressed the gay issue. They could have done a better job, yes, but in many other BL series it looks like being gay is completely normal. I feel like the whole school is gay and everyone is okay with it. I rewatched some Bad Romance episodes, both Knock and Korn were like I'm-only-gay-for-you (Korn said something like he doesn't care boy or girl, he just likes Knock - pansexual much?). In TWM they made Korn 100% gay - good job there! I don't remember how they handled this in Sotus, to be honest.

I watched TWM on the official channel of TV Thunder. Bad Romane has much more views there too, but it's longer online and after all the main pairing was hetero which attracts more viewers. I wonder if it gets more attention with time. Not everyone wants to wait a week for new episodes, many prefer binge watching the series. Hopefully some talented people make videos about them to spread the love. Storywise I think Sotus is better. TWM is ... well, I have seen that plot at least three times. But the emotion, the production, the characters, the acting ... it is very special. The chemistry between Max&Tul is something you don't witness often. How they pulled off the love and kissing scenes is admirable. I want to see others try to make a kiss look so real, emotional and passionate! 2Moons on the other hand ... wow. I don't want to bash a series, but the love it gets is hard to understand. I'm too old for something like that, I guess. I agree with YourDirtyWater. Most like fluffy and cute BL stories. Funny thing, some people seem to dislike Knock&Korn because both of them are pretty buffed up. They prefer their boys more innocent and feminine looking lol.
lol, I think it was a good solution, seriously ... much better than Bright changing for Farm and being happy ever…
I'll wait for the subtitles, pretty sure I didn't get everything. Farm was the kind of guy everyone could do with him what they wanted (sorry for my bad English), now he is able to say "no". Wasn't there a scene with his ex-girlfriend? He took her hand away. So that's a good development, he ist not afraid of taking what he wants and refusing what he doesn't want. But obviously he is going too far and we lost him to the dark side lol. He became like Bright. Talking about him, Farm's evolution changed him too (I'm pretty sure to the better in his case). For me it is an open end somehow. That a victim becomes a culprit is pretty common, psychologically speaking. The question is, if Farm had it in him the whole time or if it was really Bright's behavior which caused all that.

lol, I'm an author myself. Maybe that's why I look differently at characters and stories. As a storyteller, I think it was good. But yeah, as a viewer, it's of course tragic and terrible :P
I can only speak for myself, but the storytelling in Sotus is one of the best in a BL series I have seen to date.…
Did you edit your comment or what happened here? Didn't get everything the first time reading it. I think Max and Tul are GREAT in some scenes, and bad in some others. But again, I blame the script, which is very silly. Wonderful, poetic and moving is not what I call real. My life at least isn't like that lol. I never exprienced a soft and kind love either, because I just don't like that. I'm not the romantic type, I guess. I think we should stop comparing the two series, they are too different. I don't like TWM so much because of the sexyness, I think it's unfair to say Sotus was so beautiful and romantic and TWM ist just about hot scenes. I liked the BL of Bad Romance (many people hated it) and there was nothing going on between the characters. I hope for a good season 2 of Sotus and believe me, I coudn't care less about making out scenes. I just hope I see a Kongpop who shows more emotions so I can somehow relate to him. It was impossible for me in S1.

Artrit was a complex character and the actor did good, but Kongpop was unbearable. I wanted to slap him in the face. I binge watched the whole series, so maybe that's why it was too much for me. Kongpop ruined it for me, seriously. In general I have nothing to complain about their acting, but the roles weren't that challenging either. When it comes to acting I normally don't blame the actors in asian dramas, most of the times the script or the director are at fault. Such a character like Kogpop was too one dimensional for me. So I woudn't be surprised if the actor does a better job in another series.

With "real" I mean raw. In Sotus everyone looked like a model 24/7. Even the love story was "polished" and perfectly cute. Everything was done nicely. Kongpop was a character too good to be true. The actor only had three different expressions throughout the whole series .
I'm sorry but I just couldn't get into this drama, I love bl dramas and I know that the acting is good…
Sotus is good, it deserves the high rating. But I'm surprised myself that so many people liked it. I guess because of the very cheesy love story (yeah, I'm not so much into slow paced, cute love stories, without any drama and with charcters who are too perfect to be real). But compared to other (thai) drama it's really great and pretty smart. I watched Make It Right, Love Sick and tried 2Moons - if you know one of them you know them all. I'm glad that dramas like Sotus exist.
A lot of people are saying Together With Me is their new favorite Thai bl, but this one is still number one! I…
I can only speak for myself, but the storytelling in Sotus is one of the best in a BL series I have seen to date. You can learn something from the story, while Together With Me is just a typical love drama with two boys who fall in love and one of them has a girlfriend and cannot make up his mind. It's nothing new, nothing special. But what's special is the chemistry between the actors (Max&Tul) and the many romantic and also heart wrenching scenes. Of course the hot scenes are great too, but that's because the actors are doing such a fabolous job in potraying those two characters. While I found the love story in Sotus cute (yeah, I was smiling like an idiot most of the time), watching Korn&Knock is just different. It feels so REAL. It's a completely new level of BL. On a sidenote: I'm one of the few people who enjoyed the BL in Bad Romance A LOT. The script was bad, yes, but their chemistry was undeniable - even without a single (not forced) kiss.
Where did you get that information? I thought there were 15 ...
"The best 2 minutes of this series in my opinion." If you like Bright/Farm that's okay. But saying their scenes are the best of the whole series is just unfair. Max and Tul did a fabolous job, you cannot compare their effort with the scenes of Bright/Farm.

Wow ... so Farm gets heart broken and that's it? And the teacher/Phu relationships ends just like that? Why taking the effort to include other "love stories" if they aren't going to finish them? I can't believe it. They give Pleng and her evil plan (whatever she has in mind) all the screen time when it could have been resolved so easily.
