but I think, the real father is Soo Cheol itself, I just thought she told Soo Cheol that baby is not his son,…
She might honestly believe that he isn't her son's father. If she had a partner in her cons prior to teaming up with Eun Seong and the gang she might have had a reason to make sure the DNA came back as Hyun Woo's. She might not have ever actually checked real test results. She had talked to herself without anyone present about how stupid could he(Soo Cheol) be when referring to the difference in appearance between him and Geon Woo.
Anybody else notice that ONLY the Chairman's and Hae In's secretaries were actually loyal to them/the company? Everyone else in the family who had someone close to them, turned their back on the Hong family member the second they smelled blood in the water.
In ep 11 Da Hye notices that Soo Cheol deleted his account on the online game. I take this to indicate he is moving…
I don't think he's moving on. I think he's working to gain the power/strength he needs to win her back. He's learning to fight from Hyun Woo's brother. He realized that he's been selfishly neglecting his sister and family because of his poor decisions. So I think he wants to go after Eun Seong to get the location of Da Hye and Geon Woo from him.
Is Geon Woo - Hong Soo Cheol 's son or not?if YES: then why was Da Hye lying as his real son would have been more…
I think Geon Woo's real father is someone that Da Hye is fearful of. I think that she might have ended up with the con-team to get out of her situation with the bio dad. She might not have known she was pregnant at the initial planning stages of getting with Soo Cheol. Maybe the bio-dad was someone she was partners(like a con team) with prior to teaming up with Eun Seong, his mother, and Grace.
I think she decided to use her pregnancy to her advantage to hide in the Hong family. She was the most insulated member of the family other than her son.
What it comes down to is, I think Geon Woo's father is also a conman. Da Hye and him either had a falling out or she cut him out of a deal, and he will be showing up soon to collect on what he thinks he's owed.
EDIT: Maybe it's possible that Soo Cheol IS Geon Woo's father, but she truly believes Geon Woo to be someone else's child. That would be an interesting plot twist. They would have faked the results of the DNA test if she so much as thought Geon Woo was possibly not Soo Cheol's. So they might all be in the dark about who the actual father is.
I wonder if Geon Woo's "real" father was at the door of Da Hye's apartment? I'm still rooting for Geon Woo to be Soo Cheol's son after all. At least I know that even if they aren't biologically father and son Soo Cheol still thinks of Geon Woo as his no matter what. But Da Hye seems to be in danger from someone else. It would makes sense that if she was running from someone she would hide within the Hong family with the help of her old "orphan brother" and the rest of the conmen.
Will you be checking in periodically to see what's happening or will you be going cold turkey until all episodes are released? I just hope that if you're checking in everyone is being good about using the spoiler tag for actual spoilers. Normally the first two episodes don't get spoiler tagged because of how early in the show it is, but this show will have a lot of questions to answer. I hope you'll be able to stay relatively spoiler free for 2 months until you release the binge dragon. I normally start my binge watch a day or two before the last episode airs so that there's no way to get the finally episode spoiled before I can watch it.
The fact that I have watched both episodes 6x & it is not Monday yet is crazy to me
I love shows that you can rewatch multiple times and find something new. They've done a great job with the first two episodes to get someone interested & paying full attention to how characters interact with one another. Add the music, cinematography, and pretty pretty people, it becomes a must watch.
I usually watch at 2x speed even without the mother's scene hahaha I find the normal speed to be slow and 2x or…
My ADHD brain listens to most things at 2x speed. anytime a co-work hears me listening to something they get really confused. also learning to speed read was very helpful.
Anyone who is watching this and is annoyed by MCH's mother, go to the settings in the video & change the speed to 1.5x or 2x for her scenes. It's either going to be three dots or the gear. If you aren't a speed reader I'm not sure how else to help you. If you still can't get over it, it's probably a good idea to just quietly drop it & find something that better suits you at this time. Happy drama watching 😊
i actually don’t understand why the rating is so low! i’m super obsessed with this drama. this might be the…
It's rising. As more people actually watch it instead of dropping it after watching two episodes because the leads aren't together yet.... 🙃 I still cant believe someone read the synopsis & saw the episode count and expected romance from the jump.
People being impatient as hell when the synopsis here clearly says after the breakup "Between being filial to…
I mean, how the hell are the writers supposed to show the growth of a character if everyone wants them to be fully developed perfect people from episode one? I just don't understand how people could read the synopsis and not realize that at least the first quarter of the episodes will be the "before". It's 37 episodes...that is the biggest indicator of style of show....I'm guessing those complaining don't watch a lot of Chinese dramas.
So the FL is a pathetic push over. She is like a football that everybody can just kick around. The boyfriend and…
She's anything but pathetic. She has a strong backbone, but she is too willing to smooth things over for others even at the expense of herself(First daughter people pleaser...it's a thing). I think she showed that she can be strong during the family meeting, but she was having to juggle too many egos at one time. And because of the way she was raised going against what the elders say is more complicated for her. But these first episodes are to show the growth that she'll have over the course of the show. This is just her starting point, not her end game.
he's ruthless, his aim is to break up FL's marriage, to the advantage of Yueda Company, for whom he works.....…
I feel like she's old old money. The kind of generational wealth that's more laid back because all the assists kind of "take care of themselves"...you know what I mean? Either that or she got the hotel in the divorce agreement from her ex-husband aka YZM's grandfather.
fl has no idea how wealthy grandma is and although grandma only blood relative is the grandson, but I think fl…
Honestly curious to see how their whole dynamic will blossom going forward. I know that Grandma thinks very highly of MCH, but I wonder if she ever even thought of pairing her grandson with her at all or if she purely wants them to be like cousins(brother/sister). I'm looking forward to seeing how the writers handle that.
