Best way to turn a killer in psycho is make them obsessed gay!
And not because they feel guilt about killing someone and lying about it for 5 years...nope...he killed himself because he was outed as liking DoHa...what the ever loving F*CK were the writers thinking?
Part of the plot is giving 'Her and Her Perfect Husband' vibes. aka age gap older woman. fake marriage because of her job. Everything else sounds completely different though so looking forward to it. I liked 'Her Private Life' so I'm looking forward to something I don't have to think too hard about and can just sit back and enjoy the hijinks and romance.
Well we knew from early she’s a good sniper, what fighting did she do in these episodes? I really only saw her…
She has super zoom eyesight...like a telescope or a really strong camera lens. She has super senses, eyes, ears, nose, taste all have been mentioned/shown she hasn't shown super touch, but i'm not sure how one would show that ability.
I'm confused how you think the pace is the issue...going based off of your watched list and what you rated them…
I guess I'm just used to film pacing being similar. It's more about vibes less about what is being said in the moment. It's mood...which isn't everyone's cuppa so I get it. The pauses/cuts for me is just building tension, but I guess I can understand how that could be frustrating for those who aren't used to that style of storytelling.
there will be a flashback of Kim Doo Shik flying around and shooting with the NK soldiers in the last 3 episodes.
Just found out from another poster that the script writer and the webtoon writer are one in the same which is why everything feels so much more rich and well placed even though the character are "new".
Couldn't agree more about the new characters added in the drama and also how they really elevated the live action…
Yeah didn't even realize that we had him doing the adaption as well! For some reason I thought that his credit was just for the IP and not the script itself. That changes a lot imo, because I would hate for any extension to lose it's core meaning and focus from the original author's intent. But if it's HIM doing the writing I think that being able to put his thoughts to screen would only be a good thing. Cause the webtoon is like drawing story boards for a show or film. Though now the question remains...will Jo In Sung be willing to get rigged up again in those wires?...cause our man was very excited to be done with those harnesses.

No x-ray vision. She just knows her son isn't answering his phone and that there are people who, if they don't already know who he is, will know soon if she doesn't stop them. Also, she has always hidden the extent of her abilities...from everyone. She like Doo Shik, Joo Won and hell, even Jae Man, all have very strict moral codes. Don't hurt potential innocents, and don't hurt those they consider their family.
The concept of this series is really good, the actors are also good but the execution, including the pacing is…
I'm confused how you think the pace is the issue...going based off of your watched list and what you rated them im honestly shocked. Do you normally binge watch after the full release of a show? Is that why you think the pace is weird?

A part of me doesn't want a season 2. Just because I think that this was such an amazing drama I would hate for expanded stories to fail/let down what they accomplished in season 1 . I just don't want another Star Wars situations on our hands...yah know? or Game of Thrones, cause once those writers ran out of source material it all went to hell in a hand basket.
I read on a website that in the webtoon Bongseok dies. Is this true? How closely is the drama following the webtoon?I…
I don't know who said that. if there is more than one season of the webtoon I can't say for sure. But I read what I thought was the whole thing and homeboy makes it out alive.
The cause was cancer... based on the conversations between mum and teacher. But we know she's well and alive.…
Did i miss her in a previous episode? I thought her adoptive brother said she died. Was she one of the mourners at her mother's funeral? Cause i don't remember seeing her as an adult.
So looked it up cause....knowledge and what not. Anywhoo no major spoilers from the webtoon, just speculation on my part for episode breakdown based on the titles of each episode and reading the webtoon. Episode 18(South and North) looks like it will be dealing with Doo Shik's last mission and the North's response to his presence. My prediction is that this will mainly consist of flashbacks. Episode 19 (Finale Battle) present day...now that we have our North backstory it's officially go time, all hands on deck. Episode 20 (Graduation Day) looks like it will cover all of the epilogues. aka where are they now for each character/family.

One of the flashbacks will focus on what Doo Shik's last mission was in the North and how that mission had a domino effect for all of the current NK agents in the school and in the gym. With at least 3 characters that weren't present during the final battle(girl who snuck into the school, class bully, and Lighting man) I'm curious to see how they interweave present and past into the last 3 episodes. The script writer did something a bit more interesting imo by making the number of powered adults to children in the school equal. Only Jae Man's son was in the school during the finally battle. Mama Mi Hyun is also way more ruthless in the show adaption...didn't even wait for a stupid speech...just BAM...hole in the forhead. love that for her.
Ngl but the guy who can stop time is the best power!! You can stop the time and do changes in between and a lot…
in episode 16. you don't see the person's face just a name. you see a hand snap their fingers while cutting to a ticking clock. When the person snaps the clock stops as well as the teacher. The next shot is the teacher writing that the student transferred schools after showing no abilities. aka the student was smart enough to figure out what was going on an bounced outta there right quick.
I love love love that the show has changed just enough in the show from the webtoon to keep me fully on the edge of my seat. There are more innocents in the school than there was in the webtoon, so we are all a bit blind with the outcome of some characters. The girl who snuck into the school and the student bully character didn't really exist/wasn't present at the final battle, so I have questions. Is he actually the child of a powered person? Is he trying to get the files for someone else or is he just trying to out the class president? Who/what is in the freaking trunk of that car? Also...mister time stopper in the flash back...where you at you sneaky-sneak-sneak? So smart. Probably figured out what the school was up to and made sure to not get caught.
I can not wait for Mi Hyun to fuck some shit up. Also with papa bear #2 on the way, Jae Man, shits about to get real. The show actually did something that the webtoon didn't. There is now one powered adult to child ratio in the school.
I really hope we get the North Korean agents backstory in the final 3 episodes, as their past, like our main protagonists', shape how they act in the present. The script writer/story adaptor really left no crumbs. The story does leaned to the possibility of a season 2, but I kind of hope that they leave it to one amazing season of television. Not every IP needs a sequel, and the way that this story ends imo works well. Some people might be disappointed, but I always like stories where each person can imagine what the future holds for each character rather than long drawn out, sometimes disappointing continuations. looking at you Star Wars...looking at you.
Only slight spoiler cause i want to keep it vague for ppl who haven't read the webtoon...But those who have should know who i'm talking about.
I really hope that they keep the storyline of Hee Soo's "Uncle" in the show. I just love the idea of them(read as Hee Soo) adopting him into the family.
