might i recommend kisskh or other sites that won't give views to Disney. you can still finish the show without directly supporting the network/company.
the feet kicks & screech that just came out of me on episode 17. ππ€£πI startled my pets. π€¦ββοΈ"Do you want me to serve you?" SIR! π« π«
can u explain me the final scene???? pls ππ» ππ» I didn't get what happened to him in the end and what…
I believe because he was always the son of the cat lord demon that he was always part or whole demon. It would explain why his master said he was always meant to go back to the city & that he wouldnt stay on the mountain. its why he was so good at everything. he already had power that he was cultivating. I think the sword killed that Demon Infant but left his demon soul/body alive. the demon herb that can heal was cultivated by his father & returned to the son his healing abilities. IMO(dont know the source material of there is any) he is a cat demon like his wife. his father passed down all of his powers to FL. ML was always a cat demon(or half cat demon as it's never explained if his mother was demon or mortal, though she stayed in human form after her death so we can assume mortal mother, demon lord father. ML became a greater demon...I think...the more I talk this out the more im like, oh damn, I need a second opinion too. π€¦ββοΈ
this director loves to have things flying, even the ribbon on the back of ME Zhu Yu's hat
edit 'Oh My General' was the first work I saw of his & I could feel a familiarity when watching The Double. Im a production/cinematography style nerd who recognizes patterns a little too well.

I truely love it. didnt even watch the trailer & new i was going to watch it because of the cast 2 episodes in I was like "wait a minute...." & had to look up who directed it. i was "I KNOW THAT NAME!" & yup yup The Double director. (The Double was the first work I saw of his)
just finished episode 22. can someone help me out real quick? Exactly how many of his brothers want him dead? Cause one looked like an opportunist(the one who witnessed the tampering but said nothing), but I'm unsure if he's fully on the wrong path or just having a bit of jealousy. please mark answers in spoiler tag. sorry about not being super specific with names/number of the brother as a lot of the title cards arent getting translated on Disney+ & my Google lense can't read the fancy script. usually comes in clutch but font is too thin & cursive like.
Is it even a Lu Hao Ji Ji production until we get someone having a dramatic slow-mo tantrum as they spin & curtains blow around them in the wind? ππ€£
with most of the male actors being dubbed by voice actors ive finally gotten to the point of my period cdrama watching to recognize the voices from other performances. it'll sometimes trip me up for a second. like "Song Mo what are you doing..." type train of thought. Wu Tao is the voice actor for the ML in Blossom & Wu Jun Ting(who is playing Wu Zi Shu, the page demon) in this. There are a few voice actors who have voiced for Ryan Ding and Ding Wei...what im getting at is if I shut my eyes & listen my neurodivergent brain makes up a whole new drama in my head. They happen to be some of my favorite male voice actors which is probably the only reason I can recognize their voices.
I watched episode 1 after finishing Female General and When Destiny Brings the Demon. Honestly, I wasnβt impressed…
Nolatoo summed everything up really well, but I do recommend watching some edits of the show from either youtube or even the trailer from iQiYi to see it's it's something you would want to continue. 38 episodes is a lot if you're not actually enjoying the show. So yeah, check out some fan made MVs or shorts/reel/tiktoks and see if what comes later interests you.
What if through his fights with Mo Yin (has some weird powers), Jinan is slowly regaining his memory as Prince…
I mean he was called by his real name and title by the assassin. And he already read the bio of the Prince of Yao in a previous episode. So he might be assessing if the people Li Chung is protecting are worth betraying his former identity. I don't think he has his memories back just yet, but I think he's realized that he's more important than he previously realized.
wow ty for informing us we really care what you wont watch
I could have sworn I blocked that user before...similar name & profile pic. hummm...think I might do a preemptive block. cause anyone who takes time out of their day to make that comment will surely be back for attention when this actually starts airing. Protect your peace girlie pops...use that block button.
Episode 12 Differently how lowkey was their Prince that they held him captive but no one recognized him
based on the first time we see him, he was normally masked when around lower ranking military personnel/& ministers. So the minister only vaguely recognizes him as potentially the prince, but since the prince has been announced as dead he doesn't really look further into it. He was most likely promoted after his brother & himself were announced as dead. The only people that believe he's still alive are his own personal army & only like a handful survived the massacre that the empress dowager ordered on those loyal to the Prince & former Emporer.
On episode 4...sound design and editing could be smoother, but so far so good. I'm enjoying the different dynamics with all the characters. Wish it wasn't so exposition dumpy, but it's an understandable situation to have with needing to set up certain connections.
80 eps is way too longπ«. I love Anne Curtis too but damn why did they stretch out a 16 ep drama to 80 eps/30…
If no one wants to do the minutes math...that means this version has 14 extra Korean length episodes. So almost twice as long as the OG...so I guess they dive deeper into their childhood? or maybe they spend more time with the patients at the hospital?
I found so many negative comments & reviews about the plot, but Iβm still wondering because the rating in…
My rating is purely based on the action scenes and the chemistry between the leads. Logic who? We don't know her in this house today. I'll most likely lower my rating later, but I had too much fun watching it to care at the moment.
Seriously though, if you like either of the two leads you will enjoy the drama purely on their performances. But if you are only lukewarm about them just watch the highlights on youtube. It doesn't hold up to other dramas with similar plots writing/editing wise. It's a whole situation with an actor getting government zapped and needing to be AI replaced by another actor(Character is Cheng Lisu). Don't know how much story was cut because of that, but it's one piece to explain some of the narrative disconnect. Also that would have thrown some of the editing budget off as well. Having to digitally go in and edit him out or replace the face...yeah...it seems like that would put up some challenges for post production. Unless we get a filmed script leak, there really is no way of knowing exactly how much got reworked in post.

Korean version episodes are about 80minutes each.
