Thanks. After just watching ep 4 when we see him (supposedly)* kill his master, I did wonder if that's what it was. *(I think that there is more to it.)
1. Is he an immortal / demon? 2. Does he remember it? 3. Why is his 'friend' trying to kill him? 4. The friend said that he wanted to kill him because he, the ML, was a monster. Is that the only reason, or is there more to it?
I am confused about the overall synopsis of this drama. I read something which now I cannot find...
Supposedly, he has two souls (or something) within him and people / somebody want(s) to extract one of these from him. Now, is this referring to this drama, or have I confused it with another one?
Hi, anybody. Is this a stand-alone drama or do I need to watch the other two first? Also, if this is based on a drama, is it a sad ending? (So many of Cheng Yi's dramas have sad endings.)
Me too! Could have been an 8. Something but the frustrating subtitles killed the ratings. Some of them made zero…
I agree somewhat with what you said about the usual quality of subtitles but I must say, this particular drama really did have very hard to understand subs. (ep. one has been resubbed. I have just watched it.) Not quite sure whether you meant yourself being Turkish or whether you just used that as an example of someone of a different language either not having access to said subtitles in their language or whether you meant a Turkish person complaining about the subs not being translated into their language. I get your point, though. I am also assuming that use of 'your' did not refer to me personally, but to "...cater to 'one's language. I think the best thing would be not to downvote it but to state that one cannot vote either way because one needs to be able to understand what one is watching to make any fair determination. Of course your comment about 'entitlement' gives rise to another issue. If one is paying to watch the drama in English, as I am, I don't think that it is a sense of entitlement on my part. Too, if these Chinese Companies want us, the international viewers, to watch their dramas (and increase their revenue) they should be more accommodating like Netflix, etc.
