Totally, he was my favourite character in the drama and his "love story" -if one can call it like this- stir a lot of emotions. This is what I want from fiction, because is fiction. I love Tai Tai Jin too.

That's normal. I scored it 10, but if somebody who also love it but did not thought it was perfect score 9 (which is a great rating in MDL) it will take the rating down I am afraid.

I read the extra chapter in the novel about Qi Min. It does gives you a strong background on how they met and how they made their first baby. Lots of turmoil there. Qi Min does not have any redeemable qualities, but how much he suffered and endured is painful to read. There is not a separate chapter for QQ, so I really don't know where the story that she is from modern days come about. It must be in the main chapters but I did not have time to read them yet!

It has shortcomings, I noticed too, but otherwise is a great series.

Her character has shortcomings. Scriptwriters/directors could have put more effort to make her more coherent. She just took decisions on her own and in war with the responsibility of other's lives it comes across as arrogance and silliness. All the same is an excellent character for TXW and a great series.

I don't know why, this is a great drama, some people may not like some aspects but I don't know why there are people who are just simply mean and give scores that are so divorce of reality, but it happens all the time.

Always happen in MDL, and probably will keep dropping.

They do censored "bromances". Adaptation of damnei are forbidden since 2 years ago. Overtly BL since 2016. Otherwise, as long as people is dressed not much. They don't like much ghost stories either I have been told.

What do you mean? Because the sex scenes? We have these in other Chinese dramas. Here they are filmed beautiful but we don't see a great deal either. The only that surprise me a bit is that Deng Kai was topless in the bath/sex scene. Men are quite often topless in Chinese dramas but not in sex scenes.
