I totally agree with the comments against releasing one episode per week. Most of Chinese, Korean productions release two eps per week. I think (and this is my humble personal opinion) The producers are banking in keeping our interest via fan service between the week, but this is not what a series is all about. I do like the "romance" outside cameras between Elliot and his CP they are super loving but we know that this "formula" doesn't replace a drama storyline. The second CP does not have any chemistry outside screen, there is nothing to tell, at moments even both of them look clueless and a bit mortified. I have read from Chinese bloggers these two rich sisters (the producers) are trying to build an ABO "brand". Good luck if it is good business, but I wish they don't drag the whole audience into this.

Gao Tu actor is a sound professional and is putting his heart in this performance, but most of us are watching because HY and CP storyline which is riveting (I read the novel before watching the series) and also because we have an amazing chemistry between the actors of this main CP - Elliot and K in cameras and outside cameras.

I could agree more. The characters are not credible, not even in the novel that I read before watching the series. It does not help that one of the actors in this CP is not good at all, was chosen by his looks. Instead the actor as Gao Tu is pro for many years and is putting his heart on the performance. He deserved a better CP

They are a mismatch of acting abilities. Ellilot is doing brilliantly with his role, but on the other hand, Jian Heng as Shen Weng Lang was chose for his looks otherwise his acting is very lacking.The most professional offering is coming form Li Pei En as he has years as secondary actor in high production dramas.

I don't feel any sympathy for this CP. the character of Shen Wenlang is forced and the actor performance level is below the others and it does not help. there is neither a sound justification for him to behave like this (I read the novel before the series), nor for Gao Tu to be so in love. The author could have done better drawing these characters.

Ep 4 - I will continue watching only because the chemistry between Elliot and Ding Jie is unique and not many times we are treated to this fire from screen partners. Elliot is doing amazing in his role and Ding Jie is not far behind, but Jian Hen as Shen WenLang sorry but it is really lacking, while Li Pei En as Gao Tu is putting his heart in this performance, Jian Hen is not near there. They should have given the opportunity to another actor. On another note, I really like the novel that I read before watching the series and the changes that are making to shorten is are well done. It is what is what needed for the live.

The new "humans" are Alpha (they can be men and women ) Omega (equivalent to original females but again men and women can be Omega. They are the one who gives birth to babies) and the Beta are the closest to the original human race, but they hardly can reproduce and make babies. In this particular storyline, there ia fourth genre called Enigma, which is superior to the other three types. there are not divided by top bottom!?!? Why people keep saying this?

There are no top or bottoms maybe it would be presented this way. The genre is versatile in all types

All Chinese BLs have a space and purpose and they are different. I am glad Chinese production companies are venturing on BL projects. We knew when they did, they will rise the BL genre to another level. ABO is a multilayer and complex storyline. The original book is written with intelligence and passion. so very different to other cute and sweet storyline. The viewers are the winners with these offerings.

The actor is delivering the performance of his career too. Wow.

Wow! 3 eps amd they delivered as they promised. This is a highly rewarding recommended viewing. Elliot Huang and Qui Ding Jie could not be more perfect in their roles. I know they are already fans of the second CP, but not comparison, in intensity, in performance in sensuality, they together are the true champions (outstanding chemistry outside the screen too with lovely "boyfriends" pics in social media). Li Pei En, as Gao Tu is showing he is a "seasoned" actor. I like him very much, that role needed that experience, but I don't think Jiang Hen is at his level and he is the one who match the less the description of the book, still for me is enough and really glad to see them all in the screen.

Some of us are watching only because of the managers! I could not care less about the boring main CP. Boring in season 1, and even more boring in this one!
