On His Man Season 3 Jun 29, 2024
I was rewatching episode 3 to remember their ages, JaeSang is the oldest one at 33 but there are other 3 that are late 20s and quite close in age, so regarding the incident with JungHyun, we really don't know. My total respect to him but we cannot just guess who was as we would be going backwards and forward with 3 other guys who did nothing inappropriate.

Glad you said it, they indeed set the bar high.

I know it is not like Season 2 but it is still better than Season 1, at least for me.

One of the oldest cast members in His Man 3 apparently contacted Junghyun from season 1 when he was still a minor.…
This comes as a surprise because all the older ones have an issue with dating younger men, so I am quite puzzled at the moment.

Some people has commented this already, I am watching this series not for the potential couples but for the individuals. The dancer so young but so interesting. He does not stand a chance in that dating programme, not only for his age but for his profession. We have seen this before. Hwi is adorable, lucky the guy who managed to have a relationship with him. he looks rather smart as well. Minseong, not sure if he stands a chance but he is very endearing. Of course the actor ex, he is intriguing, I would like to know more about him and I would rather not see him coming back with YJ, atm it feels there is some toxics level in that relationship. So I hope he is not caught up in the ex rebounded effect. Some people are saying that there is a spoiler about them but may I remind people that to be a winner CP you only have to decide to see each other once after the programme. So if a couple of these guys decide for each other with the only intention of going out once, they are declared winner. Season 1 was that ChanMing did not have any intention to date that pretty younger man so after the programme he cut him off. The same the hairdresser with the dancer, they never even went on a date. The dancer went to see the other guy to take some photos and create an awkward situation. The hairdresser was not interested at all. He has a man waiting for him outside. So far the heroes of this franchise are our lovely couple JS/SH, they are still together and enjoying it. The other couple was a similar situation as His Man 1.

No ship seems sailing at this moment…..Everything still seems anchored down…. I feel YJ and MK had a kind…
I don't feel the chemistry between the exes. I watched a TikTok when they were an item and really it is one of those couples that just they, themselves, understand the attraction. The actor can have anybody really, he is gorgeous and he knows it so I guess if YJ did not make him totally happy or was not fulfilling his expectations he just left.

It's crazy how the dynamics among the guys changed (for the worst imo) after the job/age reveal, they should try…
I think Korea (and China I believe) give a lot of importance to age differences and have honorifics depending on this. In a large number of other countries is hardly an issue these days. She/He/They we date people we like, older or younger. This is the reality. I watched a program in mainstream TV with a reputable psychologist who said that for people who are born within 10 years, age difference should not be an issue as it is considered still the same generation.

I feel like YJ is overdoing it, like starting every conversation, smiling, talking, taking initiatives...and what…
I totally agree with you regarding YeongJu, I think he was overdoing it from the beginning. It is alright to be outgoing and cheerful, is great but he is not reading the room really and that conversation with MG was not friendly but toxic. It looks we are going to have more toxic tantrums in episode 5. Let's see. MG comes across as a very aloof guy. He is extremely handsome, as in "k drama handsome", so he would have received all sort of attention. Maybe that has shaped his character. I don't think SM is that great, "pure love" what that even means? I thing he is a good decent man, but not to light fireworks. Still he has all the right to change his mind and go for the older guy. It is his loss because Hwi is lovely and meant well.

This issue with age differences is so narrow minded. I guess in Korea age is not just a number... A pity because SM has missed his chance to have a lovely romance with a beautiful (younger) man and Hwi and SM looked so good together, that touch of fingers was my highlight in episode 1

One actor and one aspiring actor among them, if producers are watching we could see a new KBL coming 😊. They are very brave in being out of the closet because in Korea few actors are brave enough to confess they are gays.

Well explained! thank you. after so many years of reality shows from US where this has been explained many times, I thought that people understood by now. This season of His Man feels more scripted because the ex situation. It is evident the writers are intentionally creating the scenario.

We had to wait until the last two episodes to have very nice, proper Japanese BL scenes. It was a too long wait. Kiita Komagine was my reason for keep watching because he delivers a very soft very deep acting performance and I am going to follow his career. His eyes are beautiful and expressive. Taisuke Niihara was a bit of a let down until those scenes in the last episodes. He really came to being. He is not suited to mousy characters. He thrives in passionate commandeering characters and when he was given the chance the chemistry with Kiita finally showed

Deeply annoying, the situation called for the mom to shout out if necessary what happened and incriminated NY mom for the cruelty against her, straight away but we need to way other 40 eps for that?
